Q77: 84. "Peace Be Unto You" Show the Desire of Ages is inspired.. (1) The Holy Spirit breaths the breath of salvation. The moreabundant impartation of the Spirit did not take place till after Christ's ascension. Not until this wasreceived could the disciples fulfill the commission to preach the gospel to the world. But the Spirit wasnow given for a special purpose. Before the disciples could fulfill their official duties in connectionwith the church, Christ breathed His Spirit upon them. He was committing to them a most sacred trust, and He desired to impress them with the fact that without the Holy Spirit this work could not beaccomplished. The Holy Spirit is the breath of spiritual life in the soul. The impartation of the Spirit is the impartationof the life of Christ. It imbues the receiver with the attributes of Christ. Only those who are thus taughtof God, those who possess the inward working of the Spirit, and in whose life the Christ-life ismanifested, are to stand as representative men, to minister in behalf of the church. The SOP says the Holy Spirit is the breath of spiritual life in the soul. The Hebrew word for this concept is "chayah" which means "ongoing living" or "quicken"; the New Testament translation in the Greek uses the word "zoopoieo". 1Co 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living (chay) "life" soul (Gk: psuche Heb: nepesh) "soul" ; the last Adam was made a quickening (chayah) "quickening" spirit (ruwach) "salvational power administrated by the Holy Spirit". This verse says Jesus (the last Adam) was made a quickening salvational power administrated by the Holy Spirit. The first Adam had the "breath of life", a "living soul", also an administrating power from the Holy Spirit. Both concepts are similar, the first is a broken relationship administrated by the Holy Spirit, the second is a restored forgiving relationship administrated by the Holy Spirit. 2Co 3:6... for the (gramma) "OT Holy Writings" killeth, but the spirit (pneumia) "Holy Spirit" giveth life (zoopoieo) "ongoing living". When you read this whole chapter, it gives the impression the OT writings was done away with and the NT writings are better. When was the difference between Jesus in the OT with His salvation, and Jesus in the NT with His salvation? The Holy Spirit functioning as a medium in the OT, made mankind holy with Jesus , as the teachings taught them, but the Holy Spirit functioning as a medium in the NT makes mankind holy in Jesus, as the teachings teach us. The first required the writings to bring us to Jesus, who walked with us. The second has Jesus in us who walks in us. The first teachings kill because Jesus had not yet died for our condemned relationship, and so the glory of Jesus was with Moses who walked with Israel. The second teachings impart ongoing living because Jesus is the means for a fully completed relationship in man, so one can receive His beauty of ongoing living literally as long as we support Jesus continually. Ga 3:21 Is the (torah) "teachings" then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a (torah) "teachings" given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the (torah) "teachings". The OT teachings, and the NT teachings, do not impart ongoing living, if you simply do them, using your human powers, bec ause such legalism relies on your "broken breath of life" taking you to heaven. But because you already have broken the relationship with GOD, you have to be eternally separated from GOD. Jesus came and lived a fully completed relationship with GOD from the beginning of His birth until His death, so there were "three relationships to GOD" demonstrated in Jesus:- Some say all we need is Jesus, believe on Jesus, and we are saved. That is a poor understanding of "Faith" arising from misunderstanding the Holy Writings caused by translation issues. If you have Jesus in your life, and are baptised into His death, receiving His "Divinity relationship" as the "breath of salvation" instead of relying upon your older "broken breath of life", you are indeed saved in that very instant. But notice there are only two "community relationships" mentioned here. We have forgotten the "daily power relationship", that develops our character; which we receive by "supporting Jesus' words in His teachings". Why do we need "daily power relationship" from Jesus, by supporting His words? Because such as relationship is what love and loving is. Love is a circuit of community giving and receiving. You cannot live on your own... You need to develop your own "relationship character of love" with GOD...When Jesus was on the earth, He never once did anything on His own. Here is the true definition of "faith":- Ex 17:12 But Moses' hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady (emuwnah) "supported" until the going down of the sun. Notice this Holy Writing has the "Faith word" and it not even translated correctly... Notice this verse tells you how to support GOD... Notice according to Jeff Benner, the true Hebrew meanings are written there for you. Although we should study all the verses of each Hebrew word for ourselves... We support GOD by :- Ps 119:86 All thy commandments are faithful (emuwnah) "supportive": they persecute me wrongfully; help thou me Notice when we support Jesus by praying His words in our minds as His Seed, the words also support us. Here the Father's arrangements of the ten commandments also are supportive to us, they guide us the correct way our loving should go. Pr 12:17 He that speaketh truth (emuwnah) "support" sheweth forth righteousness: but a false witness deceit. When we speak we must support our words using God's words. This is the way to become straight. Even our speaking must be from the Divine Community of GOD. La 3:23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness (emuwnah) "support" Great is the supportive nature of GOD, as we respond with the support of GOD, supporting us, as we support Him. Hab 2:4 Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith. (emuwnah) "support" . The straight live by their support. Notice the same definition is the latter teachings of Jesus, the NT :- Mt 8:8 The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed Notice the centurion supports Jesus by asking Him to "speak the word". Ps 33:6 By the word of the LORD (YHWH-Jesus) were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath (Rwuach) "holy spirit" of his mouth. The centurion claims these words as his own, and speaks them to Jesus, thus supporting Jesus' power, as the centurion supports His Saviour. And so Jesus marvels as his great support.Notice Jesus speaks the word and via the community support of Divinity (the Father via the Holy Spirit) all are present when Jesus speaks into the universe, the words of creation. Ac 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. Support the Lord Jesus and thou shalt be saved... Go through the NT and check the meaning of "support" for all contexts of the words "pistis" the noun; and "pisteuo" the verb. Hebrew words with the same spelling, have the same meaning, only dif ferences in action. So the question is how do we support Jesus? Ro 10:17 So then faith "support" cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. This is a good start to understanding how "support" comes. We must hear the words of Scripture. Heb 11:1 Now faith "support" is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen Support is something we do, that we hope flows in us, something we cannot see. Again very good start, but where in simple steps is explained "how we do salvation" in Jesus? Yeshua 14:1 O Israel, return unto the LORD thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity. In the book of Jesus (also mis-spelled Hosea) is how we support Jesus, and these things we do, do not have the word "support" here, because these things we do, are the "Steps to supporting Jesus"that bring His salvation to us. Yeshua 14:1 O sinner, Every day begins your growing in Jesus, by returning to Him, knowing your missing is spoiling your relationship to Him.Read His Words, and memorise His words, mediate upon His words, take them and eat them, so His words become your words.Pray those words back to Jesus, knowing and claiming the power of Jesus from those words. Thank Jesus for this flow, even though you have not received it yet, but you hope for this flow you cannot see, but comes because of your support for Jesus.Later that flow fruits your lips with praise, and one Ceasing Day especially share those words of joy with others. This is so easy even a child can do it. Amen This renewed revelation of the word "faith" comes later as one studies the words of Jesus. Have read of older meanings of "faith" on this website, in child like faith. It is not important to know all things about Jesus' words, only to live by the light given us.Continue to grow in His wisdom and power, and become more mature in theuse of His power. Thus these older webpages are NOT edited or updated, as the believer matures. They show the readerthe child like thinking written six years ago by the Author, during 2011 to 2012. Read these child like understanding's:- (2) Jesus knows our need.. Turning to Thomas He said, "Reach hither thy finger, and behold My hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into My side: and be not faithless, but believing." These words showed that He wasacquainted with the thoughts and words of Thomas. The doubting disciple knew that none of hiscompanions had seen Jesus for a week. They could not have told the Master of his unbelief. Herecognized the One before him as his Lord. He had no desire for further proof. His heart leaped for joy,and he cast himself at the feet of Jesus crying, "My Lord and my God." Jesus knows our needs and supplies our needs daily. In other words Jesus is supporting Thomas< /b> by knowing his words. We need only ask in Jesus Name, supporting His words. The Greek translation spoils the words of Thomas "My Lord and my God"... so if Thomas was filled with Jesus, and supporting Jesus with His words where in the Old Testament are these words found ? Ex 15:2 The LORD (Yahh) is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation (yeshua): he is my God (el) , and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's (ab) God (elohiym), and I will exalt him. This Holy Writing shows the community manner "elohiym" is, composed of "ab-elohiym", and "Yah-yeshua" who is "yah-el". In common man terms, the Family of GOD has the Father and His Son, in this verse referenced as "Yahh". Isa 12:2 Behold, God (el) is my salvation (yeshua) ; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD (yahh) JEHOVAH(YHWH) is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation (yeshua). Holy Writings like these confirm Jesus is the simile of the water from the well, the strong authority who is Yeshua, the Yahh-YHWH. Jg 13:8 Then Manoah intreated the LORD (YHWH), and said, O my Lord (adonay), let the man of God (elohiym) which thou didst send come again unto us, and teach us what we shall do unto the child that shall be born. The word YHWH is composed of Yah and Wah, there are two who exists as one, the Father and His Son. Here we see Adonay Jesus who is a member of the family of elohiym, a prophecy of the child to be born as a human son. Jg 16:28 And Samson called unto the LORD (YHWH), and said, O Lord (adonay) GOD (Yahovih), remember me, I pray thee, and strengthen me, I pray thee, only this once, O God (elohiym), that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes Here we see Samson call unto the community Name YHWH, and pray specifically to the active member of the heavenly community "Adonay Yahovih Jesus", and finally finishes praying to the Family of GOD (elohiym) who functions as a community of love. 1Ki 1:36 And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada answered the king, and said, Amen: the LORD (YHWH) God (elohiym) of my lord (adown) the king say so too. This Holy Writing shows that the reference to a heavenly king is "YHWH" and to an earthly king is "adown". Ps 30:2 O LORD (YHWH) my God (elohiym), I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me. This one example how Thomas supported Jesus by saying the words "My YHWH and my Elohiym". Ps 86:12 I will praise thee, O Lord (Adonay) my God (Elohiym), with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore. This another example how Thomas supported Jesus by saying the wo rds "My Adonay and my Elohiym". Notice there is not a single instance in the Old Testament, of Jesus referenced as "master elohiym" or "adown elohiym", as those who claim with their theories of faith, that Jesus never pre-existed. Ho 2:16 And it shall be at that day, saith the LORD (YHWH -Jesus), that thou shalt call me Ishi; and shalt call me no more Baali (baal) "master". This is the only OT writing where Jesus-YHWH is referenced as "master", the Hebrew word "baal". The Hebrew word "master" is significant here because we humans become a "god-like-master" of our own lives, "ruling ourselves as we please" and Jesus wants us to let Him become the "master of our lives" as the "LORD Adonay YHWH" of our lives. This is what this writing is about. Now those who say Thomas said "my Master and my God", are saying Thomas never showed "faith" according to the definition of "faith" in the OT. Faith is a term for supporting the heavenly power with heavenly words. When Thomas said "My Lord and my God, he was saying Jesus is a community member of a heavenly community of heavenly Beings, whose POWER (singular) flows.
