Psalm 20, Jesus simile of Jacob, Jesus wrestles with Jacob, Jesus our help-mate, YHWH Jesus King, Jesus Christ named in OT, gifts to Jesus

Q24: Welcome to prayer training by Jesus..

Understand the childlike foundations first:-

  • (1) How to support Jesus
  • (2) Former rains in Jesus
  • (3) Latter rains in Jesus

    (4) Deeper prayer training.

  • Consider prayer 20:-

Ps 20:1 The LORD (YHWH) hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God (elohiym) of Jacob(yaqob) defend thee;(KJV)

What is Elohiym Yaqob, a simile of? Elohiym is a family kind with power, and Yaqob also translated in English as Jacob is a family member from Isaac and Rebekiah. A brother twin of Esau who held his brothers heel when both were born.

There are several hundred contexts for Jacob. We will present a few contexts here:-

Ex 1:5 And all the souls that came out of the loins of Jacob were seventy souls: for Joseph was in Egypt [already].

Notice Jacob had in his loins, or in his inheritance or family line were other future sons, such as the humanity, Jesus would later add to Himself.

Ex 3:6 Moreover he said, I [am] the God (elohiym) "family power" of thy father, the God (elohiym) "family power" of Abraham, the God (elohiym) "family power" of Isaac, and the God (elohiym) "family power" of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.

Notice Jacob is a member of the Family Power of Elohiym. Church faiths that suggest "Elohiym" is a single numerical one YHWH called G_D, has not considered this context. How can Abraham be one, and have Issac who is one, and Jacob who is one? Thus this simile is not valid, and makes no sense. But if Elohiym is a "Family Power", than Abraham is the family line of Isaac, who is the family line of Jacob, and all this makes sense.

Ex 6:3 And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by [the name of] God (el) "Strong Authority" Almighty (Shadday) "Personal Name for the Holy Spirit", but by my name JEHOVAH (YHWH) was I not known to them.

Here the "family power" or "elohiym" concept is broken down to family members. YHWH appears to mankind via the agency of the Shadday, or Holy Spirit.

Ps 44:4 Thou art my King, O God: command deliverances for Jacob.

Ps 44:4 Thou art my King, O God (elohiym) "family power": command (yashua) "Jesus-yashua" for Jacob. (Ancient Hebrew)

This verse suggests elohiym is a king, makes no sense making the whole family a king. If we make elohiym a king, we remove the concept of family powers. But notice the Hebrew word Yashua is not translated as Jesus' Hebrew name. Thus within Elohiym, Yashua-Jesus is king for Jacob, makes perfect sense.

    Ps 114:1  When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language;

The Hebrew word "Strange language" has the pictograph "The authority {one} sees ploughs" suggests Jacob lived in Egypt for some time with people of a strange language.

Here is some of the 2400 pictographs in Ancient Egypt and the ones similar to Ancient Hebrew pictographs. Only the pictograph "Q" is the same, meaning "over the horizon" in Hebrew, or "over the hill" in Egypt; both refer to some unknown place. The other pictographs are similar but chosen for different sounds, indicating how the Lord confused the languages during the Babel Process thousands of years ago before Egyptian language developed from Ancient Hebrew. This context is used only once here, and shows us why Ancient Egypt was a strange language.

Ps 146:5 Happy [is he] that [hath] the God (el) "Strong Authority" of Jacob for his help (ezer) "help-mate", whose hope [is] in the LORD (YHWH) his God (Elohiym):

Here is a member within Elohiym named as the Strong Authority of Jacob. This Strong Authority has to be Jesus, as Yaqob and Yashua are similar spelling sounds for Jesus.

Isa 9:8 The Lord (adonay) "Lord-Jesus" sent a word into Jacob, and it hath lighted upon Israel.

Lord Jesus uses Jacob on earth as a simile of His light to follow after him.

Isa 43:1 But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called [thee] by thy name; thou [art] mine.

Jacob, a simile of Jesus, is engineered or created for a special purpose.

Isa 48:12 Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I [am] he; I [am] the first, I also [am] the last.

Jesus is a simile of Jacob, the first and last of Strong Authorities who can save us from missing powers from the Father. For those who say the Father YHWH is all there is, how does a Father save mankind from those missing Himself? The concept of missing and rescue makes no sense. Also how does the Father come near mankind within destroying mankind due to their missing of the Father's power? Such sin the Father cannot tolerate. Hence one needs another as the Father's messenger, and another to carry this messenger in a medium, so as not to destroy mankind with His coming. Hence the reason for Jesus carrying the Father's love via the medium agency of the Holy Spirit. For those who cannot reason such complexity, the wind cannot travel towards you on it's own. Wind needs air to move in. You cannot see the wind coming, but you can feel the winds presence when the wind moves over you. The same is with Jesus coming towards you via the agency of the Holy Spirit.

Isa 60:16 Thou shalt also suck the milk of the Gentiles (gowy) "nations", and shalt suck the breast of kings: and thou shalt know that I the LORD [am] thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.

Christians have a habit of drinking the milk of the worldly nations, rather than reading only the teachings of YHWH Jesus the Saviour, Redeemer, the mighty one of Jacob. Here the Lord Jesus is named as Jacob in this verse. What is sad is the churches Jesus loves, are drinking the worldly influence of nations, accepting their traditions and doctrines. A common worldly nation tradition is the idea the Holy Spirit is a "he" whatever the nations mean by that concept.

For more see The Holy Spirit as a "He"?

Jer 30:7 Alas! for that day [is] great, so that none [is] like it: it [is] even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.

Jacob's trouble is Jesus' trouble, a time when His people experience Jesus so close in relationship they are afraid of losing Jesus forever. This experience is similar to Jacob who wrestled with Jesus all night until he received Jesus' blessing. Those religions who say this was just an angel, destroy the teachings of the former rain of Jesus.

Have you ever heard of an angel named YHWH the YASHUA the Redeemer the mighty one of Jacob (Isaiah 60:16)?

If you study Genesis 25 where Jacob wrestled with a "man" until dawn, the "man" spoke about Elohiym and changing Jacob's name to Israel. The "man" would not give Jacob His Name.

Ge 32:30 And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God (elohiym) face to face, and my life is preserved.

An angel is not Elohiym, only Jesus is named both a Saviour and Jacob, see Is 66:16.

Am 3:13 Hear ye, and testify in the house of Jacob, saith the Lord (adonay) "Lord Jesus" GOD (YHWH), the God (elohiym) of hosts,

Here Jesus is a simile of Jacob, the active LORD of YHWH for elohiym's army of angels.

Mic 2:7 O [thou that art] named the house of Jacob, is the spirit of the LORD straitened? [are] these his doings? do not my words do good to him that walketh uprightly?

The Holy Spirit of the YHWH Jesus is straight. These are His doings for His Father, to redeem Israel in the former rains, and Christians in the later rains.

Mal 3:6 For I [am] the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

The YHWH Lord Jesus does not change. The salvation process in the former rains of Jesus' teachings is the same in the later rain of His teachings.

Salvation is not achieved by man doing his own works of straightness.

    Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

A man on his own is a point in space, his life of making straight lines alone is pointless and meaningless before GOD. You have no relationship, but a "broken breath of life", God is lending to you for a limited time.

The only way to become straight is to accept the man Jesus, via the Holy Spirit. Jesus immediately makes us a straight line when you connect hand to hand with Him in relationship. To receive His power growing in you every day, you have to support His words of power through prayer which are made known to you when you read His teachings in the OT and NT, the former and latter rains of Jesus. Jesus is the grain, the words of promised power. Your work is to support those words by speaking Jesus words in prayer, walking as Jesus walked, talking as Jesus talked and doing as Jesus did.

When yoked to Him in relationship, He takes a greater load and you a lesser load, and together you walk down the road towards heaven, to the Family waiting for you.

Our Father, thank you for Jacob, your Son, thank you His salvation by the Holy Spirit, may we bring forth your fruits of character through the character of Jacob Our Saviour, we support Jesus words. Amen

    Ps 20:2 Send thee help (ezer 'noun form') "help-mate" from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;

In the first line of David's 20th prayer we learn of Jacob, a simile name for Jesus. Here in the next line of this prayer, David asks to send forth a "Help-mate" out of the holy from the heavenly Zion.

Who is our "help-mate" ? Jesus is. Notice the first mention of "help-mate":-

Ge 2:18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make (asah) "do" him an help meet (ezer) "help-mate" for him. (KJV)

The "help-mate" the Lord Jesus builds for the "gender male" is a "gender female".

See a small study of help-mate

Ps 20:3 Remember all thy offerings (minchah) "gifts", and accept thy burnt sacrifice(olah); Selah. (KJV)

This Hebrew word has the pictograph "The flow over the nations outside. Behold the Person!". What is interesting about this pictograph is the picture overall. The "flow over the nations" is the Hebrew word "man" or Greek "manna" which is a simile of Jesus providing us with His grains of power daily. So "Jesus is outside. Behold Jesus!" is what this Hebrew word means. It is translated as "gift" but is a simile of the repsonse of mankind responding to Jesus providing us with our "daily bread" both of literal food and spiritual power. How we respond is what Jesus watches for, as our "gifts to Him".

Notice this concept is used first by Cain and Abel, the two paternal twins from Adam and Eve.

Ge 4:3 And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering (minchah) "gift" unto the LORD.

Both children bring gifts, but Jesus does not accept the response of Cain, because he comes to offer the gift through powers of self, rather than supporting Jesus correctly. The gifts are in the wrong order. The first gift response to Jesus is to His offering of blood for our missing, than comes our response to His daily manna for us to eat Jesus' power daily. One cannot respond to Jesus in our Baal master powers of self. And Cain does this.

Ps 40:6 Sacrifice and offering (minchah) "gift" thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required.

  • 7 Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,
  • 8 I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law (torah) "teachings" is within my heart. (KJV)

Here Scripture explains Cain's gift even more. Doing the responses of Jesus, does not make Jesus impressed with you. What is a true response is when you have Jesus power flowing in your heart, Jesus' power responds if you will this. Doing a response to Jesus is NOT the same as responding to Jesus alive and burning within you. How can you not respond to a lover that forgives you and empowers you? An apple tree bears apples because it has Jesus flowing "man" in it, NOT in order to become an apple tree. The difference lies in the power behind the giving of the gift.

Do you come to church to receive gifts? or to give gifts to Jesus? Church each Sabbath is about fruit that is given away to others. First to Jesus give your gift back to Him. Than give Jesus to others. That is how love works. Love provides and gives away. The giving away causes a response.

Ps 20:5 We will rejoice in thy salvation (yashua) "Jesus", and in the name of our God (elohiym) "family power" we will set up our banners: the LORD(YHWH) fulfil all thy petitions. (KJV)

David prays to Jesus Yashua from with the family power of Elohiym. Notice the next prayer line:-

Ps 20:6 Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.(KJV)

Can't see anything powerful through the fuzzy translation?

Ps 20:5 We will rejoice in "Jesus", and in the name of our "family power" we will set up our banners: the LORD(YHWH) fulfil all thy petitions.

  • Ps 20:6 Now know I that the YHWH Jesus Christ; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.(Ancient Hebrew)

The Author suspects some Jewish translators may have helped in the KJV translation, since Jews do not like Jesus Christ in the NT appearing in the OT. But here is yet another example of the Hebrew words for Jesus Christ.

  • Yashua Mashiyach "Hebrew for Saviour Anointed"
  • Jesus Christos "Greek for Saviour Anointed"

David prays the exact Hebrew names for Jesus so long ago and many people fail to see the light blinding them.

Ps 20:7 Some {trust} in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.

Some trust in fuzzy translations made by humans, some read the original words the Holy Spirit wanted man to write of Elohiym. These words are made of ancient pictographs 3000 BC, so long ago, before Jews wrote modern Hebrew script. These are the words pure and unspoiled from the Father.

Ps 20:9 Save, LORD: let the king hear us when we call.(KJV)

The last prayer line of David is fuzzy too. Notice again the titles of Jesus:-

Ps 20:9 Yashua YHWH King, hear us when we call.(Ancient Hebrew)

Jesus is the YHWH King of our salvation. Hear us Jesus when we call to you in prayer.

    Next we consider prayer 21.
