walking-strong, the good and bad..

( 1 ) De 33:26 � There is none like unto the God of Jeshurun , who rideth upon the heaven in thy help , and in his excellency "ga`avah" on the sky .

.. thy help and in his walking-strong on the sky .. Seems like GOD can walk strongly too, perhaps the word is not evil in it's means, only depends on how and why walking strong is done.

( 2 ) De 33:29 Happy art thou, O Israel : who is like unto thee, O people saved by the LORD , the shield of thy help , and who is the sword of thy excellency "ga`avah"! and thine enemies shall be found liars unto thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high places . {found...: or, subdued}

.. and who is the sword of thy walking-pride ..

( 3 ) Job 41:15 His scales are his pride "ga`avah", shut up together as with a close seal . {scales: Heb. strong pieces of shields}

.. 41:15 His scales are his walking-pride .. The crocodile scales are described as his walking strong, the pride of animals strength is in his armour of scales.

( 4 ) Ps 10:2 The wicked in his pride "ga`avah" doth persecute the poor : let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined . {The wicked...: Heb. In the pride of the wicked he doth persecute}

..The wicked who are walking-pride doth persecute the poor ..

( 5 ) Ps 31:18 Let the lying lips be put to silence ; which speak grievous things proudly "ga`avah" and contemptuously against the righteous . {grievous...: Heb. a hard thing}

.. speak grievous things walking-strong against the righteous ..

( 6 ) Ps 31:23 O love the LORD , all ye his saints : for the LORD preserveth the faithful , and plentifully rewardeth the proud "ga`avah" doer .

.. plentifully rewardeth the walking-strong doer .. Another verse to confirm that "Walking Strong" is not a bad term.... The concept of walking strong, here is a doer, a person working hard...

( 7 ) Ps 36:11 Let not the foot of pride "ga`avah" come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked remove me.

.. Let not the foot of the walking-strong come against me, ..

( 8 ) Ps 46:3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled , though the mountains shake with the swelling "ga`avah" thereof. Selah .

( 9 ) Ps 68:34 Ascribe ye strength unto God : his excellency "ga`avah" is over Israel , and his strength is in the clouds . {clouds: or, heavens}
