Q5: What does Jesus do for me ? If you were offered a $1000 dollars now or a $Million dollars in twenty years time, WHICH offer would you take ? Only choose one offer. Most people would choose the $1000 dollars now. Little children are especially guilty of this trap. Why do we do this ? Because we live for the here and now, rather than for the long term years of eternity. Living in the decaying world we can barely get 70 to 120 years of life. With a lot of chemical change and healthy living we could achieve 120 to 180 years of life. Any taker's on improving our own "self-powered" longevity ? ��� Jesus offers us every minute of the day with real peace, communion with a divine person and the promise of living like that for eternity. Some examples of His power offered to us include: - Mr 16:17..they cast out devils. . ..removing Satan.. Mr 16:17.. speak with new tongues.. ..language speaking.. Mr 16:17.. shall take up serpents.. ..handle anything .. Mr 16:17..lay hands on the sick.. ..healing all disease.. Ac 8:39 ..HS caught away Philip.. ..hyper-space transport.. Ac 5:15.. shadow of Peter passing.. ..power from distances.. Ac 13:46 Paul and Barnabas waxed bold.. ..powerful speakers.. 1Ki 17:22.. the LORD hears Elijah.. ..raise people from death.. This list of power, is available only under specific conditions... There are four specific conditions... Ex 20:2 I am the LORD thy God, I AM your Saviour.. Ex 20:3 Thou shalt no other gods ... I AM your home power.. Ex 20:7 No take MY name in vain;. I AM your prayer power.. Ex 20:8 Remember the sabbath day.. I will share you.. Perhaps you can't see the conditions here, so I will explain... I am your Saviour, not you.. Be humble, not poud I am your home authority Be mournful, not happy I am your power source Be meek, not presumptous I am who makes you special Be sharing my fruits, not selfish Now you see the benefits and the conditions briefly. Once you give your will to Jesus, you are never left alone. Divine gifts of power will flow to you daily. Jesus will remove your sinning so more good things of Jesus can flow to you. A steady direct communication of Jesus is maintained in your conscience via the Holy Spirit, so you are never alone. As you walk and commune with Jesus so excitment will grow more intense.
