STEPS TO JESUS Step 1: "The Saviour Principle " Q9: What does the FIRST of Father's Ten Commandments mean ? Ho 13:4 Yet I am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me.
This is the first of the GOD the Father's Ten Commandment relationship
principles. Notice the parallel between these two verses..
Ex 20:1 And God spake all these words, saying,
2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt,
out of the house of bondage. 3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
Can you see added words to the commandment, that show us
that the commandment is not a law as such but a principle of relationship ?
Ho 13:4 Yet I am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt
know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me.
Notice the First Principle of the Father's love commandments is "I AM your
Saviour". This the hardest relationship principle to keep or obey, because
we like to be our own "home secure authority", with heart effort that flows
to nothing in the sight of GOD. To obey the first principle of a relationship
to the Father, you have to daily allow a Saviour (Jesus Christ) into your
home every second of the day continuously...Shalom
