The word ( 1 ) Ex 22:25 � If thou lend money to any of my people that is poor "`aniy" by thee, thou shalt not be to him as an usurer , neither shalt thou lay upon him usury .
.. to any of my people that is afflicted ..
Do not charge interest on the humble
But how many of the proud banks enslave the humble ones with debt ?
( 2 ) Le 19:10 And thou shalt not glean thy vineyard , neither shalt thou gather every grape of thy vineyard ; thou shalt leave them for the poor "`aniy" and stranger : I am the LORD your God .
.. thou shalt leave them for the afflicted ..
How do we follow this teaching ? leave some of your rich blessings
for the poor and afflicted and the humble, all similes of each other.
The farmer can donate some crops of his produce to the poor.
The businessperson can donate money to charity.
The butcher give away meat on special occasions to the poor.
The tradeperson do work for free to some need person.
The council overlook the poor old widow for her rates notice.
The policeperson allow some elderly person not a fine.
The young lad give up some of his time to labour for others.
The housewife with canned food, to give her excess away.
( 3 ) Le 23:22 And when ye reap the harvest of your land , thou shalt not make clean riddance of the corners of thy field when thou reapest , neither shalt thou gather any gleaning of thy harvest : thou shalt leave them unto the poor "`aniy", and to the stranger : I am the LORD your God .
.. thou shalt leave them unto the afflicted .. Same idea as above
( 4 ) De 15:11 For the poor shall never cease out of the land : therefore I command thee, saying , Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother , to thy poor "`aniy", and to thy needy , in thy land .

( 5 ) De 24:12 And if the man be poor "`aniy", thou shalt not sleep with his pledge :

( 6 ) De 24:14 � Thou shalt not oppress an hired servant that is poor "`aniy" and needy , whether he be of thy brethren , or of thy strangers that are in thy land within thy gates :

( 7 ) De 24:15 At his day thou shalt give him his hire , neither shall the sun go down upon it; for he is poor "`aniy", and setteth his heart upon it: lest he cry against thee unto the LORD , and it be sin unto thee. {setteth...: Heb. lifteth his soul unto it}
.. go down upon it; for he is afflicted ..
Do not abuse the humble because you can , especially when you hire
them to work for you...your the Master lord over them too excess so
that your afflict them with too many dutues to perform..
Or you withold their wages...
( 8 ) 2Sa 22:28 And the afflicted "`aniy" people thou wilt save : but thine eyes are upon the haughty , that thou mayest bring them down .

( 9 ) Job 24:4 They turn the needy out of the way : the poor "`aniy" of the earth hide themselves together .

( 10 ) Job 24:9 They pluck the fatherless from the breast , and take a pledge of the poor "`aniy".
