Q13: Welcome to prayer training by Jesus.. Understand the childlike foundations first:-
Consider prayer 9:-
Ps 9:4 For thou hast maintained my right and my cause; thou satest in the throne judging right. (KJV)
There are several Hebrew words here all related to judging and judgement.
The first word is spelt "asah" in modern Bibles, but in Ancient Hebrew is spelt as "OXE"
The pictograph reads "Looking at prickles. Behold the Person!".
The verb means to "do" in a wide number of contexts. We learned earlier in a previous study that the "thorn or prickle" is a simile of "sin". So "looking at sin, the Person Behold! does doings" may be a broad picture of all the doings we do because we are daily found missing.
If we were daily connected to Elohiym our doings would be different.
The next Hebrew word reads "The flowing pressed mouth covers" and is a picture of a judge flowing his judgement in a court room, which covers you with his verdict over you.
This Hebrew word is also translated "judge or judgement". So there is not enough different English words to show the differences in the Hebrew meanings.
The pictograph reads "Through the door is the active over the nations". This word is also related to "quarrel" , "base" , "adown" or "Lord" and "adonay" or "Heavenly Lord". One gets the impression that "adown" or "Adonay" is the foundational presence of "a Being who sustains you daily with influence that is truth".
Hence the concept of calling this Person "Lord". So "through the door of heaven is the Active over the Nations" is a picture of GOD sustaining us with His influence for "truth". It is not a sense of judging us daily, but influencing us daily, that we make right decisions. However, the KJV and Jeff Benner translate this word also as "judge" and "judgement".
The next Hebrew word "The pressed mouth covers" is also translated as "judge" and is related to "the flowing pressed mouth covers" also meaning to "judge".
So this verse has a lot of "judging" in it, and translated reads:-
Ps 9:4 For thou doeth judgement and right-influence; thou sit-down on the throne judging straight. (Ancient Hebrew)
If we dwell in relationship with Elohiym, the right-influence trains us where to walk the narrow path, and Elohiym keeps us travelling straight.
Our Father in heaven, thank you for Jesus, your Son,
thank you for your right-influence, for keeping us straight on your way of living,
may we bring forth your fruits of character in their season,
we support Jesus words. Amen
Ps 9:9 The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.
The word trouble is related to "enemy", "narrow strait", "trouble", and "balm".
The pictograph reads "The travelling head. Behold the Person!". This is a picture of a person's head travelling in stress or headache because it is tightly bound, the blood vessels constrict and thus we feel trouble in our minds.
Thus Strong's 6862 "The travelling head" means "stress". For example:
Ps 18:6 In my distress (tsar) "stress" I called upon the LORD,
Thus Strong's 6869 "The travelling head. Behold the Person!" means "headache-stress". For example:
1Sa 1:6 And her adversary (tsarah) "headache-stress" also provoked her sore, for to make her fret, because the LORD had shut up her womb.
Thus Strong's 6875 "The travelling head active" means "headache-stress-balm". For example:-
Jer 8:22 Is there no balm (tsariy) "headache-stress-balm" in Gilead; is there no physician (rapha) "broken-relationship-healer" there? why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered?
Notice how all the parent words and child words are related in meaning. This is how Hebrew should be ideally, though in an English tranlation things are not always so ideal.
One thing the Author notices is more respect for the Ancient Hebrew pictograph meanings. One does not know everything , or need to know. One does not have to know all about God to support God. So do not mock because you, the scholar have more knowledge than me, the child.
Ancient Hebrew would work better for two and three letter words than for adopted roots, which came flooding in during the invasion of Hebrew by other nations. What is exciting is there is a prayer promise for stress, stress headaches and for broken relationship healing.
Our Father in heaven, thank you for removing my stress,
You are my refuge in times of stress, send me Your headache-stress-balm O LORD,
hear me in the day of my headache-stress, thank you for delivering me out of my headache-stress,
we support Jesus words. Amen In our moden rat race, what a precious prayer promise we have. Sow these words daily if you suffer from stress.
Take "headache-stress-balm" for your pain, so you may be "broken-relationship-healed" (Jer 51:8).
Nobody know for certain what the Hebrew balm was in those yesterdays gone by, but it would be a simile of Jesus, so pray for His power to remove your stress headache.
Ask Him for some physical plant that also helps you deal with stress. Jesus made many plants that calm our minds, all naturally designed by our Designer. Do not trust the balms of the broken relationship healers, who cannot heal.
Re 18:3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.
Babylon, which means confusion in Hebrew, or "gateway to heaven" in Babylon, is a play on contradictions. The broken relationship healers, known as doctors, merchants and drug dealers, all stress the world to buy their stressless-balm, but the few who seek Elohiym, take the balm from the broken relationship Healer, for Elohiym will heal you.
On a physcial level, the teachings show us Jesus food, which fell from heaven. What did it look like?
This picture comes from Angola in Namba Adventist Mission Station in modern times when suffering from drought times, Jesus sent man down to the earth. It tastes like honey and cake, and is white and sweet, if the followers of Jesus are special to Him. Shalom
On a physical level, the teachings teach us to eat food Jesus made and slowly cooked under His heat rays, a simile of the Sun or Son. Not fried to death by some heating appliance.
Home grown food, packed with all the organic minerals, the communities made from rich organic earth in your own garden, cooked simply in steam, wholesome and simple.
From the growing goodness garden.
Farmer industrial grown food, packed with nutrient deficient minerals, the communities killed by cancerous glyosphate, grown and packed under cancerous oozing plastic, manufactured with dozens of chemical ingredients and processings, complex product, with tasty extremes of fat and sucrose.
From the man-made maunfactured madness.
If you wish to develop a deeper relationship through Jesus with "fasting and prayer" the first thing to go is all the man-made manufactured madness.
Ps 9:10 And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.
The LORD does not forget those who seek thee. A special prayer promise.
There are other wonderful pictures in the Hebrew, not shown properly in the KJV translation. The reader will have to discover these "gems" themselves.
Ps 9:13 Have mercy upon me, O LORD; consider my trouble (oniy) "affliction"
A picture of of the furrows ploughed in our soil of our mind, a simile of depression or affliction. A wonderful prayer promise for those despressed.
Ps 9:12 .. He forgetteth not the cry of the humble (anav) (aniy) "humble and meek".
The followers of Jesus are humble and meek. These two Hebrew words are often found coupled, yet the King James does not translate them both.
Ps 9:16 .. the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands.
If Satan makes the world so busy with employment-work, one has no time for God, we are wasting time with false living.
Ps 9:18 .. the expectation of the poor (anav) (aniy) "humble and meek" shall not perish for ever.
The humble and meek are followers of Jesus, and live daily as a poor person, with less material idols in their life. God rewards those who live with less of man's technology and more of God's power flowing in their lives.
Next we consider prayer 10.
