Summary how Ellen White sees the Holy Spirit

Q30: Summarize the Holy Spirit?

HYPOTHESIS: How does SOP see the Holy Spirit?

Now that all SOP is presented how does SOP see the nature of the Holy Spirit, as a 'he' or a 'her'?

(1) Many SOP quote the KJV with the Holy Spirit from John as a "he", Ellen White quotes the Scripture versesand does not comment upon the translation issues at all.A child like faith does NOT have to know all the truth about salvation.

Joh 16:12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.(KJV)

(2) A few SOP statements are confusing knowing which pronoun is referring to whom. There are two LORDS in the OT for example. Both are referenced as 'He'.There are two Comforters, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.A medium never uses it's own power while in this function, thus the power flow belongs to the source.

We see darkly...

Going on all that is presented about the Holy Spirit, the two words for love, one can in the balance of probabilities concludethe Holy Spirit expresses mostly femaleness-love and the Father maleness-love. This makes each member of the Godhead have a unique personality of love.

Ellen White messages are really excellent for Scripture understanding, and they really do show Hebrew in the English. The SOP really do present and explain the things of GOD. Shalom

If you have not read what Scripture says concerning the Holy Spirit, see Scripture presentation on the nature of the Holy Spirit.

So how does this affect our understanding, does all this really impact us from a salvation viewpoint?

Well yes it does. If affects our loving response.

If the Father is a "he" and the Son Jesus is a "he" and the Holy Spirit is a "he", then this tells me that our love response is also a "he", and at the end of day we should not be gay about this concept of love. One would agree with this concept of love, if indeed love was only a single Hebrew word. But there are TWO Hebrew words for love, and that changes our loving..

The way we view love affects how we love, and our love response. That's why the study of love is a big deal. Please consider reading again and again, the Scripture presentations on love. Shalom
