The ten descriptors of love. The ten commandments as relationship directions

Q9:The broad TEN descriptors about love...

Are the ten arrangements of words the same Ten Commandments of GOD in heaven before sin came before Lucifer ? No...it cannot be, because the words are spoken specifically to Israel as they had gone over from Egypt to God. A casual read of the Ten Commandments show they speak about things not even in heaven, such as Egypt, maid servant, manservant and stranger within thy gates. Clearly the ten arrangement of words was written for Israel as they were just babes in the journey of loving GOD. If this is the case we should find more words about the Ten Commandments that expand upon these directions that were presented.

In Exodus 21, the very next presentation from the Ten Commandments we see the judgements, which is an expansion of the Ten Commandments and how to interpret the Ten Arrangements of words. In other words, the Ten Commandments have very broad meanings. A typical Jew saw the Ten Commandments as only a subset of 613 commandments. However the Author sees the Ten Commandments as a subset of some thousand love principles which are scattered throughout the entire Scriptures, both OT and NT. It is highly recommended the reader study this and investigate how the NT commandments of love parallel the OT commandments of love.

For those who want a summary of ideas, consider this text:-

Ho 13:4 Yet I am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me:

  • for there is no saviour beside me.

5 I did know thee in the wilderness, in the land of great drought.

6 According to their pasture, so were they filled; they were filled, and their heart was exalted; therefore have they forgotten me.

The first commandment of the Ten Commandments have added three words, "no Saviour but me". This addition tells us the Ten Commandments are about more than just ten negative moral issues. A Saviour is a positive statement, a heavenly Being who rescues us from our sinning.

Notice the curse of sinning is not breaking on one of the Ten requirements of how to live, but when one forgets His Saviour. And this relationship changes when our hearts become proud, rather than humble. Now if these verses tell us about the first of the Ten Commandments, we can write similar things about the other nine commandments. In fact Jesus spells them out differently on the Mount of Blessings.

Mt 5:2 And Jesus opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,

  • (1) 3 Blessed are the humble in spirit:...(no Saviour but me)
  • (2) Mt 5:4 Blessed are they that mourn:...(what they have lost)
  • (3) Mt 5:5 Blessed are the meek: (use my power meekly)
  • (4) Mt 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: (filled each Sabbath)
  • (5) Mt 5:7 Blessed are the merciful: (respect family)
  • (6) Mt 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart:(respect life)
  • (7) Mt 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers: (respect relationships)
  • (8) Mt 5:10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: (respect property)
  • (9) Mt 5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, (respect truth)
  • (10) Mt 5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth: (desire me )
  • (10) Mt 5:14 Ye are the light of the world (desire me )

Some parts may not match well with the OT version, but who are we to question similarities ?

Now notice these descriptors of love:-

    (1) I AM your SAVIOUR:
Mt 5:3 Blessed are the humble in spirit. Let Me be your Saviour.
  • Ex 20:2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. 3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
  • (2) I AM your COVERING:
Mt 5:4 Blessed are they that mourn ( for what you have lost from ME)
  • Ex 20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
  • 5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
  • 6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
  • (3) I AM your POWER:
Mt 5:5 Blessed are the meek: pray to receive daily my character..
  • Ex 20:7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
  • (4) I AM your FRUIT:
Mt 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Share my fruits in you with others.
  • Ex 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
  • 9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
  • 10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
  • 11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
  • (5) Respect FAMILY:
Mt 5:7 Blessed are the merciful: not those who are cruel to family.
  • Ex 20:12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
  • (6) Respect LIFE:
Mt 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: not those with evil intent..
  • Ex 20:13 Thou shalt not kill.
  • (7) Respect RELATIONSHIPS:
Mt 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers: not relationship breakers..
  • Ex 20:13 Thou shalt not kill.
  • (8) Respect BUILDERS:
Mt 5:10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for building righteously: not those who steal or destroy.
  • Ex 20:15 Thou shalt not steal.
  • (9) Respect TRUTH:
Mt 5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you because you stand for truth.
  • Ex 20:16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
  • (10) DESIRE Me: Get excited and be active!
  • Mt 5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth:
  • Mt 5:14 Ye are the light of the world.
  • Ex 20:17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.
  • Now let's go through the ten descriptors of love, arranging the words in action words:-

    Love received from GOD
GOD's Gifts.. Positive attitude Negative attitude Your Work..
I AM your SAVIOUR Be humble Not proud Will
I AM your COVERING Be mournful Not smug Study
I AM your POWER Be meek Not presumptous Pray
I AM your FRUIT Be sharing Not selfish Sabbath
    Love given away to others
RESPECT FAMILY Be merciful Not cruel visit

RESPECT Relationships Be peacemaker Not relationship breaker network
RESPECT buildings Be builder Not persecuter or stealer faithful
RESPECT TRUTH Edify others Not slander or mock witness
DESIRE ME Be salty, Be a light No apathy active hands

Now let's consider these ten descriptors as elements of love... Love is a simile of light as a family, love has different frequencies of power, even though love is a family of powers.

In this picture, we see the Ten Descriptors of love.

  • I AM Saving you, in my maleness-love.
  • I AM Covering you, with my maleness-love.
  • I AM Powering you, with my maleness-love.
  • On Ceasing Day, share my maleness-love.

Notice the response to that maleness-love:-

  • we respect families in femaleness-love.
  • we respect living in femaleness-love.
  • we build relationships in femaleness-love.
  • we enjoy physical things in femaleness-love.
  • we speak truth in femaleness love.
  • we desire deeply in femaleness love.

Now let's present the Ten Directions how LOVE works in a relationship that first begins with GOD

This is the relationship of GOD with MAN:-

  • no self authority,
  • let me direct us humbly.

  • I am your power...

  • 11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
  • I am Father and Mother,
