When the Holy Spirit MEDIUM comes over you in salvation it is the FATHER's power of SALVATION that flows in and through you to the Father's glory. This powerful relationship is made possible by the Son, Jesus Christ, the Son of the family Powers of GOD.

For as the body without the spirit-breath-of-life (administrated by the Holy Spirit) is dead ,
James is making a poetry simile here, the Holy Spirit is an administrator of the Breath of Life, and also an administrator of the Breath of Salvation.
Both of these powers flow from the Father or the Son unto those who are willing to prove your love-cup is worth the risk of investment. If GOD can safely risk sowing and fruiting seeds of love in you , they will allow you character (and personality) to flourish eternally in heaven (and on earth). But if the risk of sinning happens should you be planted in heaven or on earth, than GOD does not take your character (or personality) and so you become non-existent forever. (After God tells you in judgement why He cannot take you with Him in relationship)
