(1) Ge 29:20 And Jacob served seven years ,) for Rachel ; and they seemed unto him but a few days , for the love he had (ahabah) to her. .. for the femaleness-love he (Jacob) had to her (Rachel). The first occurrence of a Hebrew word has significance. Here we see a gender male showing love to a gender female. We could describe this femaleness-love as passionate in this context. Femaleness-love "relational". Notice there is no object from the one loving and the love receiving, the relationship is purely relational. (2) De 7:8 But because the LORD loved (ahabah) you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers , hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand , and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen , from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt . .. because the LORD femaleness-loved you, .. Notice the same kind of passionate, nurturing, relational marriage-like love, femaleness-love promises to be...Such love is shown by Son-Yahweh, who is an ambassador for Elohiym (the Powerful Family of GOD) Notice there is no object to femaleness-love except the person themselves, a relational concept of receiving from one who gives. God gives while mankind receives, this love is a type of networking, where relationships are important and where a flow of emotions occur from source to receiver. (3) 1Sa 18:3 Then Jonathan and David made a covenant , because he loved (ahabah) him as his own soul . .. because he femaleness-loved him as his own soul.. Here we see a strange notion, a gender male loving passionately another gender male...This kind of relational love is rare in Bible times, hence the reason why Peter was grieved when Jesus asked him the third time do you Peter femaleness-loveth me? Notice femaleness-love has no objects of love here, it is received by the person receiving love from the other person giving love. (4) 1Sa 20:17 And Jonathan caused David to swear again , because he loved (ahabah) him: for he loved him as he loved (ahabah) his own soul . {because...: or, by his love toward him} ..because he femaleness-loveth him: (5) 2Sa 1:26 I am distressed for thee, my brother Jonathan : very pleasant hast thou been unto me: thy love (ahabah) to me was wonderful , passing the love (ahabah) of women . .. my brother Jonathan : very pleasant hast thou been unto me: thy femaleness-love to me was wonderful.. Notice the relational concept of femaleness-love, it seems like a fellowship love of intense devotion in this context.. This verse and others like it, tell us that femaleness-love mostly aligns with gender females, or woman, as this verse tells us. It is rare for a gender male to express femaleness-love like Jonathan here, showing his devotion to David. This is the same devotion Jesus asked of Peter, when he spoke to Peter about "loveth thou me". (6) 2Sa 13:15 Then Amnon hated her exceedingly ; so that the hatred wherewith he hated her was greater than the love (ahabah) wherewith he had loved her. And Amnon said unto her, Arise , be gone . {exceedingly: Heb. with great hatred greatly} .. so that the hatred wherewith he hated her was greater than the femaleness-love wherewith he had maleness-love for her. This is an interesting story about th e type Hebrew words for "love". At first Amnon does all the maleness-love things a man does towards a woman. (these are objective things of maleness-love) For some reason the woman here does not respond, possibly because it was incest to do so, Anyway the passionate love Amnon feels now turns into hatred (emotional love, based on feelings, not upon objects), and so his maleness-love turns into a power-play to rape her instead. Femaleness love gone wrong, "anger, hate, abuse" (7) 1Ki 10:9 Blessed be the LORD thy God , which delighted in thee, to set thee on the throne of Israel : because the LORD loved (ahabah) Israel for ever , therefore made he thee king , to do judgment and justice . .. because the LORD femaleness-loved Israel .. Notice the incredible depths of passion GOD have for Israel, and Christians alike, deep passionate love, akin to nurture love, fellowship love and marriage-like love. Femaleness love "emotions" of "nuture, passion and caring" (8) 2Ch 2:11 Then Huram the king of Tyre answered in writing , which he sent to Solomon , Because the LORD hath loved (ahabah) his people , he hath made thee king over them. Because the LORD hath femaleness-loved his people Again notice the intense passionate love GOD has for His people... (9) 2Ch 9:8 Blessed be the LORD thy God , which delighted in thee to set thee on his throne , to be king for the LORD thy God : because thy God loved (ahabah) Israel , to establish them for ever , therefore made he thee king over them, to do judgment and justice . .. because thy God loved femaleness-loved Israel , (10) Ps 109:4 For my love (ahabah) they are my adversaries : but I give myself unto prayer . |
