Albert Einstein tribute

Q6: Tribute to Albert Einstein.

"Scripture relativity of time"

As a tribute to Albert Einstein, one of my faviourite Christian Scientists.Quotes Einstein persumably said :-

  • "I want to know God's thoughts; the rest are details."
  • "God is subtle but he is not malicious."
  • "Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind."
  • "Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new."
  • "Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler."
  • The only thing that interferes with my learning is my education."
  • "God does not care about mathematical difficulties. He integrates empirically."
  • "The whole of science is nothing more than a refinement of everyday thinking."
  • "Education is what remains after one has forgotten what he learned in school."
  • "The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity is it's own reason ,,."
  • "My religion consists of a humble admiration of the illimitable superior spirit who reveals himself (so) we are able to perceive with our frail and feeble mind."
  • "The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and all science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who cannot pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed."

Albert Einstein's greatest work was the Theory of Relativity. Time changes relative to matter in space. What is interesting is the relativity of time was alreadyknown in the Bible 1,500 years before Einstein discovered this. Consider :-

Ge 2:4 These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,

This verse says some really strange things. How can generations (towl@dah)( a time related concept of at least 40 years between generations) be created or made in a single day (yowm) ? Notice to be created or filled (bara), is paralleled to being made (asah).

De 32:7 Remember the days (yowm) of old, consider the years of many (dowr) generations(dowr):

Here is another stranger Bible verse. Why does Moses say remember the days ofold, and the years cycling as humans dwell in the cycles of life ?

"Generations" Strongs 8435.The pictograph reads "The mark secure authority swings through doors marked" "generation" "dwell in cycles of life" Strongs 1755, 1754, 1752, 1753. The pictograph reads "The swinging door secures the head"

There are two Hebrew words here for generations. The door letter means the passage which things pass through, sometimes swinging back and forth. Hebrew doors were curtains. The other Hebrew word "dowr" is the idea to dwell in circles, or live in the "cycles of life" or "circles of life". The statement Mosesmakes seems to suggest that time is divided into two categories, the "days of old"and the "years or cycles of humans generations".

2Pe 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. (KJV)

God measures time differently to us. A thousand yearsis like a single day to Him. Putting all these verses together, its seems that timein the Bible runs since creation in circles or cycles. This is hard for our mindsto fathom, for I do not see a circle of time returning to it's present all over again.Nor do I see time repeating the same events. The idea of circle is more the ideaof a cycle of time like the sun moving in circles, so man lives in cycles of time, that moves forward since Creation.

Another hard thing for our mind to fathom is the idea of Relativity in Time.Time changes depending upon the frame of reference. The faster the frames ofreference move between themselves, the slower the time passes. Science alreadyknows that time on the moon is slower than time on the earth . Two persons with watches exactly the same depart, one remains on earth, the other travels to the moon. After a period of many days the two people come together and check their watches. The times on both watches is different by seconds. Moon time is slower than earth time. Now imagine where GOD lives on another world differentto ours on earth. During a single day on planet earth (24 hour rotation of time)a billion years could have passed or a thousand years could have passed. How ?It's called the theory of relativity of time.

According to the Creation account the earth was created in six literal 24 hoursof time. The Hebrew word "yowm" which means a day tells us this clearly.

"day" Strongs 3117.The pictograph reads "The Active Secure Flows".

    (1) The theory of relativity affects time's frame of reference.

Time changes depending upon the frame of reference. Scientists measure timerelative to earth frame of reference. It's our unspoken assumption.

God measures time according to where He lives in His frame of reference.God took six 24 hours periods of time to do His Creative act. But this does notmean earth time and GOD time while travelling as the same time, does not meanthe frames of passage of time are the same. Thus on the first day of Creation4 billion years of time run into earth time, during the first single day ! Howdoes this happen ? Space stretching. When God created the universe the "stuff"came from His hand as a single point in time and space, and roared into beingtaking up space and matter. The filling of space, also makes time stretch becausethe light rays have to travel further and further as galaxies speed into bigger andbigger volumes of space.

    (2) Einstein's equation; E=mc2. Matter and energy co-exist.

Einstein's equation says that matter and energy have a relationship based on light. Both matter and energy co-exist. What this means as we get closer and closer to atoms the solid natures of balls of matter vanishes and we get closer to a quantum world. The quantum world is a place of motion where energy moves and mass ceases to exist. Thus at the very core light has no mass, yet the photons of light come as particles of solid matter. Does this make sense to us humans ? No !!!

Hab 3:4 And his brightness was as the light; he had horns coming out of his hand: and there was the hiding (chebyown) of his power.

This Hebrew word "chebyown" is used only once, here.

"hiding" Strongs 2253.The pictograph reads "Outside the home, the active secure moves across people"The first two letters means in Hebrew, outside the home, often translated as "bosom", the place where one is hidden in the arms and cherished.

Notice the statement of Creation tells us the earth was already there and arose out of the chaos, the deep, while being void and without form.Hebrew words have broad meanings and since we normally associate meaning to objects we see since the Creation, the meanings of Hebrew may be slightly more broader. Consider this translation:-

Ge 1:2 And the earth "'erets" was "hayah" without form "tohuw", and void "bohuw"; and quantum-darkness "choshek" was upon the face "paniym" of deep-space "t@howm". And the Holy-Spirit "ruwach" of The FAMILY (powers) of GOD "'elohiym" moved "rachaph" upon "`al" the face "paniym" of things flowing "mayim".

Not much has changed, only to slightly broaden the Hebrew to mean "quantum-darkness" (the stuff from GOD where matter comes from), "deep -space" the universe volumes of empty space; and "mayim"not water, but the chaos of matter and energy flowing.

Thus we see earth coming out from chaos, coming into existance as matter and energy (light beams) are related by Einstein's equation of E=mc2. Such Science revelations only deepen my respect for GOD, for He is not like us, and greater and more awesome than all engineers on planet earth ! Shalom
