Some religions avoid the cross, and some religions make the cross into an idol. The letter itself is just that a letter. Whether you make the cross shape into some strong authority is up to you. Jesus does not want us making any shape into strong authorities over Him. As long as the objects you worship him point you to Jesus, then it's fine. The crosses around the word ""whoredom" is interesting. The cross is a signature of who you are, where your going and whom is your strong authority. We need to be careful then which strong authority is represented by the crosses we follow. Why ? Because not all crosses naturally mean Jesus as a strong authority. The Bible often shows crosses as signatures of Satan and His strong authority over mankind. You can be sure Satan has shaped like objects in the form of a cross that represent his strong authority and thus His power over those who worship His cross shape. Have a look at the Hebrew word "pole". strongs 5251 Notice the word means "The Seeds of generations protected.." or "The Seeds of generations prickled.." There are two ways to see this Hebrew as Hebrew has broad meanings depending upon your viewpoint. A thorny coral was used to protect the sheep at night from predators. However the thorns could also hurt the sheep if they pressed into them hence thorns were prickly and made the sheep turn away. strongs 7854 Here is the Hebrew word for Satan or Adversary. Notice the word reads "The prickly one who covers across the people" Notice the way the two Hebrew words picture are similar and how they are different. A basket letter shows the good things in a basket. With Satan it shows the bad things He give us, and the Seeds of Generations (people). Thus the cross shapes are telling us the two strong authorites are in war again each other. Jesus was to protect us from the prickly one. The prickly one wants to hurt us with his thorns. Get the idea ? And the Crosses represent the signatures of powers we are loyal to... So which crosses or signatures are you showing the world ? Jesus ? or Satan ?
