( 161 ) Isa 26:7 The way of the just "tsaddiyq" is uprightness : thou, most upright , dost weigh the path of the just "tsaddiyq".
.. .. straight-path ..dost weigh the path of the straight-path ..
( 162 ) Isa 29:21 That make a man an offender for a word , and lay a snare for him that reproveth in the gate , and turn aside the just "tsaddiyq" for a thing of nought .

.. that we may say He is straight-path ..
( 164 ) Isa 45:21 Tell ye, and bring them near ; yea, let them take counsel together : who hath declared this from ancient time ? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD ? and there is no God else beside me; a just "tsaddiyq" God and a Saviour ; there is none beside me.
.. God else beside me; a straight-path ..

.. by his knowledge shall my straight-path servant ..
The straight-path servant here being spoken about is Jesus who would come as a servant for His Father,
and sacrifice His flesh for the guilt of many,
to preserve those who will, for eternity..
( 167 ) Isa 57:1  The righteous "tsaddiyq" perisheth , and no man layeth it to heart : and merciful men are taken away , none considering that the righteous "tsaddiyq" is taken away from the evil to come. {merciful...: Heb. men of kindness, or, godliness} {from...: or, from that which is evil}
.. .. straight-path ..none considering that the straight-path ..

( 169 ) Jer 12:1  Righteous "tsaddiyq" art thou, O LORD , when I plead with thee: yet let me talk with thee of thy judgments : Wherefore doth the way of the wicked prosper ? wherefore are all they happy that deal very treacherously ? {talk...: or, reason the case with thee}
.. Straight-pathed art thou, O LORD ..
There are some churches who make claim that
Jesus changed his ways of salvation....The term straight-path was in Hebrew eyes a single path that winded itself across the wilderness of the horizon of time and space, not many paths. Jesus has not changed His methods of salvation. Jesus does not change His ways. The ten commandments are everlasting moral attitudes, or the Father's methods of living with Him in heaven, so such laws cannot change for no person, His ways are immutable.
Mal 3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not;
therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.(KJV)
Jesus cannot change His methods of salvation. To even to think He could would imply Jesus could not see the beginning from the end...why create a process if you see it would not work ?
Some say the old covenant on Mount Sinai was a temporary method of salvation. And Jesus came after the Cross with a new method of salvation. Is this true ? No. When Adam sinned He had to perform a method
of salvation, Jesus told to perform that pointed to His Saviour dying for his guilt, and saving Him for eternity through His blood. Such a method was created with literal symbolism that pointed forwards to Jesus on the Cross. Now that the Cross has come and gone, we still have literal symbols of Jesus method of salvation pointing back to the Cross, and pointing forward to His second coming, the same salvation system since it was detailed to Adam.
The problem with the Jews in the Mount Sinai days is they thought to be saved through the literal symbols themselves in the human powers of salvation through those literal symbols of sacrifice. Not so. Such a method of salvation is called Baal religion, or legalism. The method of salvation as it has always has been, is to believe through faith that these symbols
pointed to Jesus, who would indeed be the literal process of salvation.
Let me ask you something, about literals and symbols.
When you pray, is this a literal or a symbol ?
There are two things one could do with prayer, like the Jews did with sacrifice of animals. Sure the action of prayer is literal, so was the action of animal sacrifice. Now one can make the action of prayer
a literal human work of salvation, that as long as I pray I am saved. Correct ? No. False. This is a Baal style of salvation, a form of legalism. All noise and no rain.
Prayer is a symbol, as well as a literal. And like all symbols in the Bible they point forward to a literal. You have to believe through faith by the grace of the Father, that your little human effort of praying reaches past the Holy Spirit, to Jesus who presents
you pleadings to the Father. Thus prayer is a symbol that points to Jesus, who is the real literal. Too often as humans we humanize symbols and make them into human powered salvation processes.
This is called in Scripture Baal religion, a heart effort that flows
to nothing. God is not interested in your humanity for power. Jesus is able to bring divinity to humanity, because He is the Son of Man, and the Son of God. Only Jesus can bring true divinity to humanity, for power. Only divine power works against Satan.
( 170 ) Jer 20:12 But, O LORD of hosts , that triest the righteous "tsaddiyq", and seest the reins and the heart , let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I opened my cause .
.. that triest the straight-path ..
