( 331 ) Ro 6:11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin "chatta'ah", but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord .
.. be dead indeed unto sin-offering ..
( 332 ) Ro 6:12 Let not sin "chatta'ah" therefore reign in your mortal body , that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof .
.. sin-offering ..
The sinner's sinning and Satanic master ruling over continous sinning, becomes a
constant personified enemy that wars against us, and we long for true freedom.
The sin-offering is not just a sacrifice and miracle-magic !! "All consequences of
sinning is gone" !! ..It does not work out this simple. Satan does not give
up easily. Self is genetically wired to love Satan. Self-powered effort comes
natural to humans. We are deceived by Baal religion every day, even in the
hand of Jesus. Jesus knows all this and this is why the sin-offering is not an
event but a process. The sin-offering in the Old Testament times was a complex
affair, that started with the sinner and the sacrifice and ended with the sanctuary
being cleansed on the Day of Atonement. The process when on day after day,
showing the sin-offering reigned inside sinner's daily until final cleansing was
completed on the Day of Atonement. So this sin-offering is a battle between
you and Satan and between you and Jesus. The arrangement of relationships
is a struggle over your soul and which power rules over your soul.
This is why Paul says to watch out for the sin-offering the lust of the sin-offering.
( 333 ) Ro 6:13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin "chatta'ah": but yield yourselves unto God , as those that are alive from the dead , and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God .
.. of unrighteousness unto sin-offering ..
( 334 ) Ro 6:14 For sin "chatta'ah" shall not have dominion over you : for ye are not under the law , but under grace .
.. sin-offering ..
We are not controlled by the sin-offering but by the grace from our Saviour who
handles the sin-offering process. Ours is not the struggle of our sinning, but of
listening to the still small voice of Jesus via the Holy Spirit in our conscience.
We do not fight against our sinning, but fight the good fight of faith instead.
The torah defines the sin-offering and brings you to Jesus, but once you come
to Jesus, He tells you directly what to do. This does not do away with torah
teachings of salvation, what it does is make the torah teaching secondary in
nature and Jesus' direct audible voice in your soul the primary method of salvation. If you cannot hear the voice of Jesus in your heart, the torah is a
tutor to guide you humbly and meekly to hear the still small voice again.
Such is the real concept of grace. Shalom
But the problem for most of us, is we listen to the "sin-offering" that rules over us, the "sin-offering" has dominion over us, as Paul says in Romans 6:14.
( 335 ) Ro 6:16 Know ye not , that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey , his servants ye are to whom ye obey ; whether of sin "chatta'ah" unto death , or of obedience unto righteousness ?
.. ye obey whether of sin-offering ..
The Jews were stuck on the sin-offering process more than ongoing life itself.
They were blinded to rituals the sin-offering required for salvation, rather than
the grace of salvation first hand. Torah teachings defining the sin-offering
does not remove sinning by doing. Salvation comes when the sinner sees the
grace from the sin-offering and this grace liberates them to a different kind of
doing. This kind of doing results from love, while the former is out of obligation.
Basically the Jews felt obligated to do the sin-offering because the torah
demanded it. The sinners saved by grace loves to obey the torah of Jesus
because he loves his or her Saviour. The motive is deeper and more real
than one who is obligated and does religion from legalism.
The key to removing our "sin-offering" we pray to Jesus to remove, is to "outgrow the sin-offering with Jesus power".
We do this by supporting Jesus more and more, instead of allowing the "sin-offering process" to rule over us more and more.
The "sin-offering" was meant to die, when we are baptised in Jesus in His death. But Jesus promises to remove all the powers of the "sin-offering process"
gradually, one propensity at a time, until the power of the "sin-offering process until death" is removed completely in your life. (Exodus 23:23 and 29)

( 336 ) Ro 6:17 But God be thanked , that ye were the servants of sin "chatta'ah", but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you .
.. were the servants of sin-offering ..
( 337 ) Ro 6:18 Being then made free from sin "chatta'ah", ye became the servants of righteousness .
.. then made free from sin-offering ..
( 338 ) Ro 6:20 For when ye were the servants of sin "chatta'ah", ye were free from righteousness .
.. were the servants of sin-offering ..
( 339 ) Ro 6:22 But now being made free from sin "chatta'ah", and become servants to God , ye have your fruit unto holiness , and the end everlasting life .
.. made free from sin-offering ..
( 340 ) Ro 6:23 For the wages of sin "chatta'ah" is death ; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord .
.. sin-offering ..
The wages of sin-offerings is death...why is this ? Scholars see this verse as a
definition of sinning. It's not a definition of sinning, but of human processes
to transfer sinning unto a sin-bearer who deals with our sinning.
The sin-offering was all about death and saving sinners from death.
Thus the wages of a sin-offering is death.
Inside the sin-offering is a sin-bearer who comes with grace as a precious gift
to pardon the sinner and remove the guilt from his life forever. Paul is
showing us the Jesus in the sin-offering, something the Roman Jews found
hard to grasp.
Here is a verse showing the result of sinning is death.
De 21:22 And if a man have committed a sin worthy of death, and he be to be put to death, and thou hang him on a tree:
23 His body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but thou shalt in any wise bury him that day; (for he that is hanged is accursed of God;) that thy land be not defiled, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.
But this verse is written symbolically for Jesus, the sin-bearer of the sin-offering.(no mention of sin-offering here in this verse)
De 24:16 The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.
Notice the verse says sinners die for their own sinning. (no mention of sin-offering here in this verse)
Isa 53:12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
Jesus dies for the sins of sinners ( no mention of sin-offering here) Notice the whole verse is a bigger picture symbolically pictured as the sin-offering, while
inside the picture are other words describing sins, transgressors and
intercession as well as gifts of grace and pardon.
