The Bible condemns the "desire" of money.
The Bible does not condemn a rich man, for the parable
of the talents tell us some people are richer than others.
The concept of "desire" for more money, is a sin of pride
the act of wanting more and more, thus needing Jesus
less and less. See studies of pride.
