Q1: Can we reason with Jesus ?
Isa 1:18 Come now, and let us reason "yakach" together, saith the LORD:
though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow;
though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
The picture meaning for "yakach" is to "chastise". The pictograph reads
"The hands" & "palms" active "outside". Sounds like a Dad
disciplining his son with his hands, like as in a spanking. The
word also means a strong talking together, instructing, debating
and rebuking against sinning. See studies of "yakach".
The Lord Jesus wants to discuss the relationship we have to Him. It is
broken in terms of power because of sinning. A broken relationship with
Jesus does not mean He does not care. He still does. And talks and listens
and moves things to get your attention back to Him. So you can reason
with Him. Go out into the starry heaven and "give it all you've got !" He
will listen, than after your exhausted your rebukes, listen in the
wilderness of the black starry night for Jesus talking back to you through
the conscience of your mind, a process of communication established by
the Holy Spirit for direct communion of sinful man with sinless GOD !
In order to hear the voice, you only need to be humble. Shalom
