High Priest bears our guilt

( 31 ) Nu 15:31 Because he hath despised the word of the LORD , and hath broken his commandment , that soul shall utterly be cut off ; his iniquity "`avon" shall be upon him.

.. utterly be cut off his guilt .. Notice each individual is reponsible for his or her guilt...

( 32 ) Nu 18:1 � And the LORD said unto Aaron , Thou and thy sons and thy father's house with thee shall bear the iniquity "`avon" of the sanctuary : and thou and thy sons with thee shall bear the iniquity "`avon" of your priesthood .

.. .. with thee shall bear the guilt ..with thee shall bear the guilt ..Notice the priests, the high priest (representative of Jesus) bears the guilt of the confessed sins of guilt by the people, when transferred to the sanctuary.... This is a special act of sanctuary salvation, and good news indeed for sinners loaded by their own guilt. Why not ask Jesus right now to remove our guilt and begin the journey of living in His paradise today ?

( 33 ) Nu 18:23 But the Levites shall do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation , and they shall bear their iniquity "`avon": it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations , that among the children of Israel they have no inheritance .

( 34 ) Nu 30:15 But if he shall any ways make them void after that he hath heard them; then he shall bear her iniquity "`avon".

.. then he shall bear her guilt ..

( 35 ) De 5:9 Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God , visiting the iniquity "`avon" of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me,

( 36 ) De 19:15 One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity "`avon", or for any sin , in any sin that he sinneth : at the mouth of two witnesses , or at the mouth of three witnesses , shall the matter be established .

.. up against a man for any guilt .. Notice guilt is associtated with wrong doing.

( 37 ) Jos 22:17 Is the iniquity "`avon" of Peor too little for us, from which we are not cleansed until this day , although there was a plague in the congregation of the LORD ,

( 38 ) Jos 22:20 Did not Achan the son of Zerah commit a trespass in the accursed thing , and wrath fell on all the congregation of Israel ? and that man perished not alone in his iniquity "`avon".

.. perished not alone in his guilt ..

( 39 ) 1Sa 3:13 For I have told him that I will judge his house for ever for the iniquity "`avon" which he knoweth ; because his sons made themselves vile , and he restrained them not. {For I...: or, And I will tell him} {vile: or, accursed} {restrained...: Heb. frowned not upon them}

.. for ever for the guilt ..

( 40 ) 1Sa 3:14 And therefore I have sworn unto the house of Eli , that the iniquity "`avon" of Eli's house shall not be purged with sacrifice nor offering for ever .
