.. said unto the LORD My guilt .. The meaning of the Hebrew avon is guilt. ..my guilt is great than I can bear..
( 2 ) Ge 15:16 But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again : for the iniquity "`avon" of the Amorites is not yet full .

( 9 ) Ex 34:9 And he said , If now I have found grace in thy sight , O Lord , let my Lord , I pray thee, go among us; for it is a stiffnecked people ; and pardon our iniquity "`avon" and our sin , and take us for thine inheritance .

( 10 ) Le 5:1 � And if a soul sin , and hear the voice of swearing , and is a witness , whether he hath seen or known of it; if he do not utter it, then he shall bear his iniquity "`avon".
