( 21 ) Mt 5:28 But I say unto you , That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after "chamad" her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart .
.. on a woman to lust desire .. Notice this concept comes from the Old Testment . To look at a woman with "desire" is the same as to "lust" after her.
It is an abuse of power. The relationship is one of control. Such relationships
are sinful because you violate your own will with Satan, and violate the
other person's free will as well.
( 22 ) Mt 13:17 For verily I say unto you , That many prophets and righteous men have desired "chamad" to see those things which ye see , and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear , and have not heard them.
.. righteous men have desire .. Desire can be a good thing..
( 23 ) Lu 15:16 And he would fain "chamad" have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat : and no man gave unto him .
.. desired to fill his belly with food ..
( 24 ) Lu 16:21 And desiring "chamad" to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table : moreover the dogs came and licked his sores .
.. desired to have bread crumbs from the master's table ..
( 25 ) Lu 17:22 And he said unto the disciples , The days will come , when ye shall desire "chamad" to see one of the days of the Son of man , and ye shall not see it.
.. come when ye shall desire ..
( 26 ) Lu 22:15 And he said unto them , With desire "chamad" I have desired "chamad" to eat this passover with you before I suffer : {With desire...: or, I have heartily desired}
.. .. said unto them With desire .. With desire I have desire ..
The Hebrew word "desire" is not evil in itself...is a good word, and means to
give power to others. Often in the evil sense, "desire" means to take power
from others. Jesus desires to eat the passover with them, for the meal was to
represent a major change in the balance of power from Satan to God, and
allow the empowerment of sinners to experience the passing over from Satan's
world into Jesus' world.
Here we see God's definition of "desire" to give power..
In contrast, is Satan's definition of "desire" to take power..
( 27 ) Ac 20:33 I have coveted "chamad" no man's silver , or gold , or apparel .
.. I desired no man's money, or clothes..
( 28 ) Ro 7:7  What shall we say then ? Is the law sin ? God forbid . Nay , I had not known sin , but by the law : for I had not known lust "chamad", except the law had said , Thou shalt "chamad" not covet "chamad". {lust: or, concupiscence}
.. .. .. I had not known desire ..the law had said Thou desire ..said Thou shalt not desire ..
( 29 ) Ro 13:9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery , Thou shalt not kill , Thou shalt not steal , Thou shalt not bear false witness , Thou shalt "chamad" not covet "chamad"; and if there be any other commandment , it is briefly comprehended in this saying , namely , Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself .
.. .. false witness Thou desire ..Thou shalt not desire .. The words "thou shalt not
covet" is the same as "thou shalt not desire" The Hebrew word for "desire" is
a strong word, not some weak word, we assume today in our sinful cultural
changes to English meanings.
( 30 ) 1Co 10:6  Now these things were our examples , to the intent we should not lust after evil things , as they also lusted "chamad". {our...: Gr. our figures}
.. as they also desire ..
