Nickel-Iron technology Off Grid Solar Power

Q2: Off Grid - building the power house walls

I note a sag in my concrete timber I used, so fill the gaps with more mortar until the blocks are level and gaps are true and neat.

See red arrows.

Notice the red arrows show tools of trade, two small spirit levels and a large block hammer.

Next add the reinforced bars and rods to the bond beam channels.

Like so. Red arrow shows door entry point.

Pour the concrete into the bond beam channel, and wait a week for strength.

Next weld a frame for the door, say 1600 by 600, hold in place with blocks and clamps,

Lay each block to a mortar thickness of 10mm, using tiles and blocks and string line.

Like so.
