Science of Salvation Everything begins and ends with the mind, or heart, the place where self resides or is expressed from our genes that cause us to become masters of our own living. Yashua (Joshua) 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. (KJV) 1Ki 18:21 � And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word. (KJV) The Hebrew word Baal mentioned here is a term meaning "master". The people were "masters of their lives" and did not "support GOD". Ro 11:4 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal. (KJV) Paul speaks of those who master their own lives, and through non-support were broken off, but the Gentiles can come in because they support GOD correctly. Ro 11:20 Well; because of unbelief (no amanuh) "non-support" they were broken off, and thou standest by faith (amanuh) "suppport". Be not highminded, but fear: 21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. (KJV) Finally Paul speaks of our mind: Ro 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. So everything has to do with our mind, how we daily support Jesus with His Words in our mind, to walk as He walked supporting His Father's Words, living a victorious life without missing. How does this "renewing of the mind work" ? Starting Spiritually is a detailed but simple journey of salvation, reading Scripture as it plainly reads, for beginners starting in Jesus. Some of us deal with pride and doubt and other problems. (100+ pages) Steps to my Saviour is a brief journey through a single Bible passage, of the Steps to Christ. There is in Scripture, is a process of salvation, in really Simple Steps everything thing a person does daily to be saved by Jesus. (10 pages) Mockers may mock and say Scripture has no science of salvation, what does this mean anyway? Is there a process of getting Jesus into me daily, so I can be saved completely by Him? Yes The process is simple, but we have to do it continually, to live a victorious life in Christ. Sometimes the Author needs a Hebrew English Translator for dealing with doubters. Many of us want to doubt and thus wander away from GOD doing our own thing, living in the light we experience, and not caring for more light. Are we afraid of light, lest our darkness be exposed? Are we afraid of more responsibility, lest the Lord expect more of an increase? Mt 25:24 Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed: What does the Lord say? Ro 11:8 (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day. (KJV) Ro 13:11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. 12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. There surely is a science of salvation in Scripture, a daily process we do in order for Jesus to save us fully and completely. Salvation is not something we receive ONCE, the CROSS is not all there is to salvation. The CROSS is just the beginning of JESUS in us. Sinless character cannot be created instantly in the moment we become saved by Jesus. But when we hold Jesus in our hand, and His hand holds our hand, we are declared sinless in character, and thus become "straight". But this is only the beginning of Jesus holding your hand. Jesus also wants to walk with you, holding His hand. When Jesus died on the cross, the way of salvation was made possible for mankind, but we have to receive the WORD or SEED. Jesus is a simile of the SEED. Jesus came to earth as a Seed on time. When you receive the Seed, it has germinating time. Than the Seed grows and has a seedling time and finally a fruiting time. Therefore salvation is a process of supporting Jesus throughout your life, and for all eternity. We have to live in His power, sowing His powers daily in us. How is this done? Have a look at two books dealing with the Steps to Christ, which speak of the Science of Salvation, or how Jesus saves us for eternity. Ellen White writes "Steps to Christ". Hosea writes "Steps to Christ". Both of these books speak of the science of salvation in Jesus. If you want to experience salvation from Scripture, and Scripture only, have a careful look at this study. The Author trusts the inspired Hebrew English Translator, and uses her book "Steps to Christ" as a guide to the Scripture version of "Steps to Christ". Science of Salvation is a chapter by chapter study, comparing Ellen's Steps to Christ with Hosea's Steps to Christ. (14 pages) Shalom
