Q73: 80. In Joseph's Tomb Show the Desire of Ages is inspired.. (1) Type had met antitype The Passover was observed as it had been forcenturies, while He to whom it pointed had been slain by wicked hands, and lay in Joseph's tomb. Onthe Sabbath the courts of the temple were filled with worshipers. The high priest from Golgotha wasthere, splendidly robed in his sacerdotal garments. White-turbaned priests, full of activity, performedtheir duties. But some present were not at rest as the blood of bulls and goats was offered for sin. Theywere not conscious that type had met antitype, that an infinite sacrifice had been made for the sins ofthe world. They knew not that there was no further value in the performance of the ritual service. Butnever before had that service been witnessed with such conflicting feelings. The trumpets and musicalinstruments and the voices of the singers were as loud and clear as usual. But a sense of strangenesspervaded everything Type had met antitype, is a SOP way to explain the poetry symbols that had pointed to the Personal functions of Jesus. Many churches of faith, including my own say the Passover Feast was done away with at the Cross of Jesus, along with other Feasts which were also types meeting completion in the Personal functions of Jesus. If that was so, why did Jesus on Passover night, just change the way the Feast was to be observed, from animal sacrifice to plant sacrifice? Both kinds of sacrifice have been in Leviticus all the time ?The Lord's Feast, also known as the Lord's Ordinance points as a type for Personal functions of Jesus around the wedding Feast in heaven, as we believers are to practice getting ready for Him. Shalom For more, see: SOP & Love feast Ex 21:23 And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life, Some churches of faith say Jesus never pre-existed. They say the Father YHWH raised His sinless human Son from the grave, with the breath of life, ordinary human creatures have. But according to Exodus, when Satan did mischief to the womb of the Holy Spirit, endangering the breath of living in future children of Elohiym, the breath of life must be given for the broken breath of life.In other words if one was to sacrifice Himself for sinners, one must yield up their "breath of life" for eternity, for the others who are saved by your exchange of living for eternity.A Father who comes over a sinless human creature and raises him with the "breath of life" is offering another "breath of life" is NOT a sacrifice of "life for life". It is also not an infinite sacrifice either. Therefore Jesus cannot be a mere sinless human born from Mary's womb only. Now consider Jesus with divinity as a relationship power from all eternity, adding the "breath of life" as a relationship power from the time of being born a human in Mary's womb. Thus Jesus had two relationships of power to His Father. When the Father came near His "dead Son" to restore relationship again, the eternal power of divinity Jesus had always within Him, allowed Jesus to raise Himself. Thus the sacrifice is infinite for two reasons, (1) the "breath of life" Jesus had from the Father was given for you and me, for our broken "breath of life"; and (2) Jesus eternal functions of omnipresenceis encapsulated within humanity, and thus restricted by it. (2) Soldiers guard the tomb The greater the number of soldiers placed around the tomb, thestronger would be the testimony that He had risen. Hundreds of years before the death of Christ, theHoly Spirit had declared through the psalmist, "Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine avain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against His anointed. . . . He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them inderision." Ps. 2:1-4. Roman guards and Roman arms were powerless to confine the Lord of life withinthe tomb. The hour of His release was near. Why does the SOP quote this Psalm about Jesus? Ps 2:1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? Those theories of faith that say Jesus never pre-existed would say this is just speaking prophecy, about a Son to come. Those who read poetry prayers which the psalms are literally, would say this speaks of Jesus and the Father together from eternity...and their cords come down to help man with salvation cords... Ec 4:12 And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken. Three fold cords of salvation ? Yes. Father, Son and Holy Spirit. This is a divine Family of loving as a circuit of salvation. Ps 2:7 I will declare the decree: the LORD (YHWH-Father) hath said unto me (Jesus) , Thou my Son; this day have I begotten thee. There is a prophecy made here ( a decree) in the poetry prayer: Notice the Father already speaks to His Son, one day I will born thee with human flesh, implies the Son in heaven with His Father had no previous human flesh. Such humanity is added to divinity, by the Father's decree. How else can you read this poetry prayer except as it is written literally? Ps 2:11 Serve the LORD (YHWH-Father) with fear, and rejoice with trembling. If Jesus never pre-existed, where are the Bible texts that speak of His kingdom from Mary's time...Are they only found in the NT?How than is man saved in the OT? Where is Jesus' former rain and latter rain, as the Holy Writings say ?Such theories of faith make no sense. So where in the OT does the Father speak to His Son about His inheritance (bar)? Da 7:9 I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire. Here Jesus as an inheritor (bar), is given the dominion of earth, as a king, by His Father. When this happens is during the beast power that was slain by God's burning flame, puts this event into modern times way past the NT times, so some theories of faith claim Jesus is in heaven with His Father, but never pre-existed. Da 3:25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son (bar) "inheritor" of God. Here Jesus as an inheritor (bar), is seen walking in the burning flames in Daniel's time, shows that the "inheritor" existed before "Mary's time from the womb". Those that say Jesus never pre-existed, say the Babylonian king saw something like he was familiar with explaining it in his own understanding, is not a reference to an eternal Jesus as a "Son of God". Now we make "Hebrew words" have "context meanings" according to the "dictates of man's thinking" rather than allowing "Hebrew words" to speak for themselves. Ex 23:20 Behold, I send an Angel (malak) "Messenger" before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared. If we assume "malak" means "angel", which it doesn't, "cherub" means "Angel"; than how can an angel forgive sins? These false theories that say Jesus never pre-existed, say one of the Father's Angel's was with Israel, forgiving their sins... who is this Angel? Well there is an Angel named that is close to the Father, and involved in the Father's business. Re 12:7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, Michael is named with the angels fighting for the Father, doing the Father's business. Da 10:21 But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince (sar). Here we see Michael, which we suppose is an angel, is referenced as a "sar" or Prince. Da 12:1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince (sar) which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy peopl e shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. When Michael stands up, there comes a great time of trouble, when did Michael sit down? Da 7:9 I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, We are not directly told, the only time a Being sits around when the Father sits, is here in Daniel 7. Could Michael, who is a "sar" (meaning the prince) also be the "bar" (meaning an inheritor) of man, be other functional descriptions of Jesus, a name which means "He who saves"? Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince (sar) of Peace. The only Prince named anywhere close to the Father, is Jesus, who also must be called Michael, to whom is given the kingdom of earth, not an angel.Studies also show "malak" is a messenger, not an angel all the time. 2Sa 11:22 So the messenger (malak) went, and came and shewed David all that Joab had sent him for. So can an Angel forgive sins? No.. Mt 9:6 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, There is no Holy Writing reference to the Father taking His Name and forgiving sins, except the Lord Jesus.
