The Father sacrificed Himself in Christ,

Q72: 79. It is Finished

(1) The Father sacrificed Himself in Christ..

Page 762

Understanding the character of God, knowing His goodness, Satan chose to follow his own selfish, independent will. This choice was final. There was no more that God could do to save him. But man was deceived; his mind was darkened by Satan's sophistry. The height and depth of the love of God he did not know. For him there was hope in a knowledge of God's love. By beholding His character he might be drawn back to God. Through Jesus, God's mercy was manifested to men; but mercy does not set aside justice. The law reveals the attributes of God's character, and not a jot or tittle of it could be changed to meet man in his fallen condition. God did not change His law, but He sacrificed Himself, in Christ, for man's redemption. " God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself." 2 Cor. 5:19.

Notice the strange "Hebrew like way" the SOP explains Elohiym sacrificed Himself in Christ.

2Co 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself (heautou) "meaning like", not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

Sadly fuzzy translations "himself" means "like" a contrast comparison...The Father's relationship to Jesus, His Son, is made a comparison to Jesus, our father reconciling the sinner, his sons (and daughters) to us. What this truely means is a study for all eternity. Shalom

(2) Believers must become character clones of Jesus

The law requires righteousness,--a righteous life, a perfect character; and this man has not to give. He cannot meet the claims of God's holy law. But Christ, coming to the earth as man, lived a holy life, and developed a perfect character. These He offers as a free gift to all who will receive them. His life stands for the life of men. Thus they have remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God. More than this, Christ imbues men with the attributes of God. He builds up the human character after the similitude of the divine character, a goodly fabric of spiritual strength and beauty. Thus the very righteousness of the law is fulfilled in the believer in Christ. God can "be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus." Rom. 3:26.

The Spirit of Prophecy says this passage in English, but also uses the fuzzy translations so we of child like faith are not discouraged. The "common man" can find truth simply by reading the English translation of Jesus' teachings in the SOP, as carefully as we study the Hebrew Holy Writings also translated into fuzzy English in the King James Version. The important thing is we grow up into becoming mature, not drinking milk all the days of our growing in Jesus. Shalom

So for those mature enough to study the words of Jesus, as they were meant to be understood, the passage is highlighted here again, with more detailed comments:-

The law (teachings) requires righteousness (straightness),--a righteous (straight) life, a perfect (complete) character; and this man has not to give.

When we humans sin we miss the relationship connection love requires. Love is a circuit of loving. This requires a community capacitance of being charged and discharged, of giving and receiving, of maleness love and femaleness love. When you miss relationship, and the power of love from that divine relationship, you become "alone"...

Technically you're never truely alone, for in the emptiness of space, the Holy Spirit continuely instills "the breath of life" in you, a love power from the Father into you, despite your broken relationship, you are "living" because Elohiym loves you, because of GOD's beauty (grace), to allow your character to live for a season, to see how you will use or abuse this opportunity of love.

Regardless of what you do with your "borrowed living" from this community of loving, your actions are not a "relationship" and all your doings mean nothing to GOD.

He cannot meet the claims of God's holy law (teachings).

We do not own "relationship". GOD cannot own "relationship" either. This is why you have to choose from your own free will to enter into "relationship" because you want to respond to community loving.

The most royal teachings of Elohiym, is the Father's ten arrangements of words that describe community loving in terms, wicked people understand , as moral negatives, the "Ten Commandments".

Jas 2:8 If ye fulfil the royal law(torah) "teachings" according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:

Here James uses the term "royal teachings" to refer to the Father's ten commandments, and these are summed up as "Love thy neighbour as like GOD loves you" ( Lev 19:18 ). James writes the verse in a short cut, but here is the fuller context for those who cannot make the latter rain harmonize with the former rain, the NT and OT must make the same doctrines of truth.

So the "royal teachings" tell you why your relationship is broken... your are a sinner... and your living continues for a season only because community love has not given up on you.

But Christ, coming to the earth as man, lived a holy (special) life, and developed a perfect (complete) character.

Once you connect to Jesus, your hand in His hand, you become a divine relationship through salvation.

Now your pointless living is straight!

The Hebrew word "salvation" is written as "Yeshua" although the spelling is "modern common spelling" for "common man" to understand...so you will see Jesus is the word "salvation" in the OT and NT.

Jesus is named "Yasha" in Matthew 1:21, because "Jesus saves", that's what "salvation" is, "A Being who saves".

In order to be salvation for you, Jesus had to live with the broken relationship man is born with, but live a complete relationship with the Father from birth without missing this relationship connection.

Mankind is born without sinning, but soon does missing everyday, ignorantly or deliberately from birth. Under a special condition known as the Nazarite prayer (Numbers 6:2), a person can be born without sinning and remain connected to GOD in a divine relationship from birth because of an empowered presence of the Holy Spirit from birth. Such a special condition is known for Samuel, Samson and Jesus. Perhaps even John the Baptist.

Does this mean Samuel can be taken to heaven because he did not do missing while living on earth? No because the first missing Adam did that Samuel is connected with by inheriting the "breath of life" from Adam's line, one has to "Eternally be separated" from GOD for this missing this relationship. Samuel could not live because his first relationship requires his separation, even though his second relationship is faultless (let's say it was).

So how did Jesus achieve this, if the first relationship He is born into requires "eterna l separation" from God, even though Jesus lived a relationship with God that is perfectly complete?

Jesus is the only Being born of man, with "two relationships".

That is why man cannot achieve "eternal living" because our first relationship is already broken through Adam's original sin, and while trying to live in a Divine Relationship with GOD through the torah teachings, we are doing this with legalism, through human strength alone.. This is not a relationship with GOD, but ourselves alone empowering "holiness that means nothing to GOD".

Jesus was born of "two relationships" to GOD simultaneously from birth, Jesus had the first broken relationship under Adam, the "breath of life" through Adam's seed, that all born this way inherit condemnation because of Adam's sin. Thus we are all born condemned, but we are not all born sinning, or born sinners. There is a difference in these Hebrew terms, many churches of faith do not understand.

Ro 5:16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation (katakrima), but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.

The Greek word "katakrima" is a court room declaration that mankind is condemned, because there has been a change of ruler over our soul, from the Holy Spirit to another "spirit", the "spirit of Satan".

Ro 5:19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made (kathistemi) "ruled" sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made (kathistemi) "ruled" righteous.

The Greek word "kathistemi" means to rule. See studies of kathistemi if you doubt this meaning.

See an article on What is sinning?.

Now back to Jesus, how does He raise Himself from the grave when the "broken relationship from Adam, the "breath of life" has to remain eternally separated from the Father? And added to this one small condemnation, Jesus lifts away all the sin-offerings of every missing mankind has ever done that could be confessed as sin-offering, becoming a "chief of sinners".

The second relationship with Elohiym is Jesus' own Divine relationship by being a member of Elohiym, He uses His own divinity as relationship, to raise Himself. This comes when the Father and Jesus form a relationship again, when Jesus was separated from the Father during the Second Death experience.

Thus ordinary sinless humans cannot remove all the sins of the world and rise from that sacrifice because the Father would treat you as a sinner, even though you did no sinning, you sacrifice the only means of rising from the Second Death. But a member of Elohiym only could; by adding humanity to divinity, and thus achieve what man alone could not achieve.

Now that we have Jesus living is us, via the Holy Spirit, as the "breath of salvation", our character becomes a clone of Jesus' character. This is achieved daily as we accept daily Jesus as our Master over our soul, rather than ourselves being our own master of our soul. Nor do we attempt to do good things from Jesus' teachings by empowering ourselves as our own master. No. This self powered attempt in Hebrew is termed "baal", and was a literal idol in OT times, but in NT times is a symbol of self. We must allow only Jesus to be our ruler.

This is what happens if you try to master Jesus' power using your own will as a master. Your straightness becomes crooked. And you are found missing the relationship with Jesus.

1Jo 3:6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

If we continue missing, it becomes evidence we do NOT have that intimate relationship with Jesus. But notice as with marriage, daily ups and downs, is NOT a sign you're NOT connected to Jesus.

1Jo 5:17 All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.

There is a sin-offering NOT unto death...so some our our doings that go wrong does not end our relationship with Jesus. If you wish to understand the scroll of first John and his holy writings of relationship with Jesus, see the saved cigarette smoker.

(3) Man made laws spoil God's laws..

By consenting to break one precept, men are brought under Satan's power. Bysubstituting human law for God's law, Satan will seek to control the world. This work is foretold inprophecy. Of the great apostate power which is the representative of Satan, it is declared, "He shallspeak great words against the Most High, and shall wear out the saints of the Most High, and think tochange times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand." Dan. 7:25.

Men will surely set up their laws to counterwork the laws of God. They will seek to compel theconsciences of others, and in their zeal to enforce these laws they will oppress their fellow men.

The Aramaic word for "Set times" is "zaman" Strong's 2166, which represents the Hebrew word 2165, or

Ne 2:6 And the king said unto me, (the queen also sitting by him,) For how long shall thy journey be? and when wilt thou return? So it pleased the king to send me; and I set him a time.

Time is established by a "King" or "Strong Authority" such as "Goverment".

The Aramaic word for "laws" is "dath" Strong's 1882, which represents the Hebrew word 1881.

Ezr 7:12 Artaxerxes, king of kings, unto Ezra the priest, a scribe of the law of the God of heaven, perfect peace, and at such a time.

  • 13 I make a decree, that all they of the people of Israel, and of his priests and Levites, in my realm, which are minded of their own freewill to go up to Jerusalem, go with thee.

Likewise, the word law is also a "decreee" established by a "King" or "Strong Authority" such as Government.

This is exactly what the SOP says, Government Authorities will establish world wide decrees, against the decrees of heaven, to shut down the free wills of man, to force us to live according to the precepts of man.

    (4) GOD is a simile of burning...

    Page 764

This is not an act of arbitrary power on the part of God. The rejecters of His mercy reap that which theyhave sown. God is the fountain of life; and when one chooses the service of sin, he separates from God,and thus cuts himself off from life. He is "alienated from th e life of God." Christ says, "All they thathate Me love death." Eph. 4:18; Prov. 8:36. God gives them existence for a time that they may developtheir character and reveal their principles. This accomplished, they receive the results of their ownchoice. By a life of rebellion, Satan and all who unite with him place themselves so out of harmonywith God that His very presence is to them a consuming fire. The glory of Him who is love will destroythem.

Community love in heaven is a simile of burning to those who are rebellious.

Notice the whole of Chapter 30 of Isaiah speaks of the Churches that claim to follow GOD:-

Isa 30:1 Woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin:

Jesus is commenting upon his Churches that claim to love Him, who have not "His Spirit" or character administrated by the Holy Spirit in them, rebellious so called Christians.

Isa 30:2 (they) trust in the shadow of Egypt!

Even during the end of time, even global Government laws that restrict our freedoms, we still trust in Egypt! We go to the doctors and their drugs for health...for example...

Isa 30:9 (they) not hear the law of the LORD:

We no longer follow the torah teaching of Jesus in His OT or NT teachings.

Isa 30:10.. speak unto us smooth things,..

We wnat sermons with smooth things...

Isa 30:21 And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

We pretend to have a faith, but our faith is dead, we do not hear Jesus speaking to us via the Holy Spirit in our consciene, we follow a "dead Lord"... we cannot hear...we cannot read...we cannot see...

Isa 30:27 Behold, the name of the LORD cometh from far, burning with his anger, and the burden thereof is heavy: his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue as a devouring fire:

And so as the SOP explains,"By a life of rebellion, Satan and all who unite with him place themselves so out of harmonywith God that His very presence is to them a consuming fire. The glory of Him who is love will destroythem", Jesus comes to those who pretend to love Him , as a consuming fire. How sad...
