(71) Isa 16:8 For the fields of Heshbon languish , and the vine of Sibmah : the lords (baal) of the heathen have broken down the principal plants thereof, they are come even unto Jazer , they wandered through the wilderness : her branches are stretched out , they are gone over the sea .
: the masters (baal) of the heath
KJV is very inconsistent....why lords of the heath?
Why not masters of the heath?
(72) Isa 41:15 Behold, I will make thee a new sharp threshing instrument having (baal) teeth : thou shalt thresh the mountains , and beat them small , and shalt make the hills as chaff .
... having master (baal) teeth :
(73) Isa 50:8 He is near that justifieth me; who will contend with me? let us stand together : who is mine adversary (baal) ? let him come near to me.
... who is mine master (baal) ?
(74) Jer 37:13 And when he was in the gate of Benjamin , a captain (baal) of the ward was there, whose name was Irijah , the son of Shelemiah , the son of Hananiah ; and he took Jeremiah the prophet , saying , Thou fallest away to the Chaldeans .
..., a master (baal) of the ward ....
Isa 50:9 Behold, the Lord (Adonay) GOD (Jesus-YHWH) will help me;...
Here Jesus Adonay YHWH is challenging other masters of thier lives, to take on Himself as "master" of our soul.
Jesus is ourr helper, or help-mate...as Eve was a help-mate for Adam.
How I wish KJV was consistent in their translation....why make a man a captain of the ward...there is a Hebrew word for captain
but such a word is not used here...
In all he verses that use Baal, there is no clue to what Baal worship was or meant to the Scriptures...
only that the Scriptures oppose Master idols of religion and the pagan concept of trinity idols...
(75)Da 8:6 And he came to the ram that had (baal) two horns, which I had seen standing before the river, and ran unto him in the fury of his power.
And he came to the ram with master horns..
(76)Da 8:20 The ram which thou sawest having (baal) two horns are the kings of Media and Persia.
The ram which thou saw with master horns ...
(77)Joe 1:8 Lament like a virgin girded with sackcloth for the (baal) husband of her youth.
..for the master of her youth..
(78)Na 1:2 God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is (baal) furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies.
The Strong Authority is jealous, and Father-YHWH revengeth, Jesus-YHWH revengeth, and is "Master", the LORD -YHWH will take vengeance on his adversaries..
This is one of the clearest verses that tells us Jesus-YHWH is a Master over us, if we allow Him to come as "Salvation".
The other Hebrew word "adown" and "Adonay" tell us that Jesus-YHWH is also "Lord" over us as our foundational ruler of Creation and Redemption.
Consider carefully the implications of the Hebrew in these verses, and consider Jesus as "master and lord" over your soul energy. Shalom
