A strange context??
(52) Pr 12:4 � A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband (baal) : but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones .
..is a crown to her master (baal) : ...
Notice the damage society has caused now with married women who are not servants to their husbands...as in Hebrew times...
When marriage bonds are broken, the parents do not have ties to each other...so the rise of single families has lost children among them...this in turn creates a lost society...
Nor should the master's master be treated poorly, the Hebrew condemned this as well...sadly no wonder women wanted to be free from tyranny of their masters....
This is not how Scriptures describes both functions in the family....
(53) Pr 16:22 � Understanding is a wellspring of life unto him that hath (baal) it: but the instruction of fools is folly .
... unto him that masters (baal) it: ....
(54) Pr 17:8 � A gift is as a precious stone in the eyes of him that hath (baal) it: whithersoever it turneth , it prospereth .

Winning the lottery is a good example of a gift, that spoils many because they do not know how to master their gift, and the gift masters them to ruin...
(55) Pr 18:9 � He also that is slothful in his work is brother to him that is a great (baal) waster .
... that is a masterful (baal) waster .
A slothful worker is a masterful waster of time...
(56) Pr 22:24 � Make no friendship with an angry man (baal) ; and with a furious man thou shalt not go :
... with an angry master (baal) ; ...
(57) Pr 23:2 And put a knife to thy throat , if thou be a man given (baal) to appetite .
...if thou be mastered (baal) to appetite
How sad many of us are mastered by our appetites, rather than being a master of our own eating....
The verse show how weak we are in our modern times....we are slaves to our food....rather than masters over our food...
(58) Pr 24:8 He that deviseth to do evil shall be called a mischievous person (baal) .
... called an evil master (baal) .
(59) Pr 29:22 � An angry man stirreth up strife , and a furious man (baal) aboundeth in transgression .

(60) Pr 31:11 The heart of her husband (baal) doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil .
