Jesus is Adonay, Lord

(61) Ps 68:20 He that is our God is the God of salvation ; and unto GOD the Lord (Adonay) belong the issues from death .

.. He that is our God (el- Strong Autbority) is the God (el- Strong Authority) of salvation (yeshua) ; and unto GOD (YHWH) the LORD (Adonay) belong ..

The YHWH is a Strong Authority of salvation, is a reference to Lord Jesus, the one who saves... Notice the origin of the Hebrew spelling of Yeshua:-

  • Mt 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name YASHA: for he shall save (yasha) his people..

    Here we see evidence the only member of the Godhead who saves is Jesus...

    However the Father is also a Strong Authority, who grants salvation through His Son...

  • Ps 89:26 He shall cry unto me, Thou art my father, my God (El- Strong Authority), and the rock (tsuwr) of my salvation (yeshua).

    Some relgions of faith can argue, only Father YHWH saves, His Son came later to take over the human aspect of salvation... Surely this theory of faith may work, for some contexts of Scripture... Perhaps a better theory of faith, is Jesus is granted salvation as a power from His Father, and they in a sense both save the redeemed.. To make a proper theory of faith, it is important we look up all verses of contex...all verses must be in harmony...

    (62) Ps 68:22 � The Lord (Adonay) said , I will bring again from Bashan , I will bring my people again from the depths of the sea :

    (65) Ps 69:6 Let not them that wait on thee, O Lord (Adonay) GOD of hosts , be ashamed for my sake: let not those that seek thee be confounded for my sake, O God of Israel .

    Here for the first tme we see Adonay YHWH hosts referenced together..

    Thus Lord Jesus of hosts, is meant by this, for we also see a liink to 'adown'.

  • Isa 10:16 Therefore shall the Lord 'Adown', the Lord 'Adonay' of hosts, send among his fat ones leanness; and under his glory he shall kindle a burning like the burning of a fire.

    Thus we can strongly begin the evidence, that LORD Jesus, is Lord over men, LORD over the hosts of heaven, and the YHWH messenger for His heavenly Father YHWH.
