(63) Isa 8:14 And he shall be for a sanctuary ; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock (tsuwr) of offence to both the houses of Israel , for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem .
..but for a stone of stumbling and for a Father rock (tsuwr) of offence
Why did the Jews stumble over the Father rock, and make it an offence?
Isa 8:14 And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone "eben" of stumbling and for a Father "tsuwr" rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
15 And many among them shall stumble, and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken.
16 � Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples.
There are many symbols here, the colouring identifies each symbol. Jesus is a symbol of sanctuary functions, upon which the disciples are living stones of eben. The Father was a rock of offense to the Jews because they not accept Jesus.
Mt 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock "eben" or "cela" or "tsuwr" I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
In the light of the Hebrew verse, the Matthew verse translated into Greek uses "petra" here, which Hebrew word was used? Since Peter was a disciple, the best Hebrew word parallel is "eben", the stones built upon Jesus rock which is built upon the Father rock.
(64) Isa 10:26 And the LORD of hosts shall stir up a scourge for him according to the slaughter of Midian at the rock (tsuwr) of Oreb : and as his rod was upon the sea , so shall he lift it up after the manner of Egypt .

(65) Isa 17:10 Because thou hast forgotten the God of thy salvation , and hast not been mindful of the rock (tsuwr) of thy strength , therefore shalt thou plant pleasant plants , and shalt set it with strange slips :
..and hast not been mindful of the "Father" rock (tsuwr),,
(66) Isa 26:4 Trust ye in the LORD for ever : for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength (tsuwr) :
.. for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting "Father rock" (tsuwr) :
A fitting title here don't you think ?
(67) Isa 30:29 Ye shall have a song , as in the night when a holy solemnity is kept ; and gladness of heart , as when one goeth with a pipe to come into the mountain of the LORD , to the mighty One (tsuwr) of Israel .

(68) Isa 44:8 Fear ye not, neither be afraid : have not I told thee from that time , and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses . Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God (tsuwr) ; I know not any.
.. ye are even my witnesses . Is there a God "eloah" (FATHER) beside me? yea, there is no Father rock (tsuwr) ; I know not any...
Beware of false religion proclaiming the title of Father... there is no other Father rock, no I know not any....
(69) Isa 48:21 And they thirsted not when he led them through the deserts : he caused the waters to flow out of the rock (tsuwr) for them: he clave the rock (tsuwr) also, and the waters gushed out .
.. he caused the waters to flow out of the Father rock (tsuwr) for them..
(70) Isa 51:1 � Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness , ye that seek the LORD : look unto the rock (tsuwr) whence ye are hewn , and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged .
