(41) Ps 61:2 From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed : lead me to the rock (tsuwr) that is higher than I.
..lead me to the Father rock (tsuwr) that is higher than I
What a lovely poetry line...the Father is higher than I..
(42) Ps 62:2 He only is my rock (tsuwr) and my salvation ; he is my defence ; I shall not be greatly moved .
He only is my Father rock (tsuwr) and my salvation..
Some might say there are not many references to the Father in the Old Testament, but they are wrong..We have to know where to look. We have "eloah" for "Father" and we have "tsuwr" for "Father", there are dozens of Bible verses speaking of the Father, who loves us with protection, shelter and fortress like rock. Indeed the "travelling secure HEAD"
(43) Ps 62:6 He only is my rock (tsuwr) and my salvation : he is my defence ; I shall not be moved .
He only is my Father rock (tsuwr) and my salvation..
(44) Ps 62:7 In God is my salvation and my glory : the rock (tsuwr) of my strength , and my refuge , is in God .
In God is my salvation and my glory : the Father rock (tsuwr) of my strength
(45) Ps 71:3 Be thou my strong (tsuwr) habitation , whereunto I may continually resort : thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress .
Be thou my Father rock (tsuwr) habitation ,
(46) Ps 73:26 My flesh and my heart faileth : but God is the strength (tsuwr) of my heart , and my portion for ever .
.. but God "elohim" is the Father rock (tsuwr) of my heart..
What a lovely way to speak of our Father...
The Father is a rock of my heart..This is not a symbol of pride in our heart...Notice the Father rock is the bedrock...the stones of our pride are ground to soil on top top the bedrock..Than the SEEDS of Jesus can be sown in the soul of our heart. (soul and soil is an English word pun, similar to how Hebrew word puns allow us a little fun in our words!)
(47) Ps 78:15 He clave the rocks (tsuwr) in the wilderness , and gave them drink as out of the great depths .
He clave the Father rocks (tsuwr) in the wilderness...
Ps 78:15 He clave the rocks in the wilderness, and gave them drink as out of the great depths.
Notice both Father rock and Son rock work together in our salvation, making the water of life flow through the souls that come to GOD.
The picture image you see comes from people like Ron Wyatt who visited the exact spot where this scene took place, and where water used to flow from this spot.
(48) Ps 78:20 Behold, he smote the rock (tsuwr) , that the waters gushed out , and the streams overflowed ; can he give bread also? can he provide flesh for his people ?
Behold, he smote the Father rock (tsuwr) ,
(49) Ps 78:35 And they remembered that God was their rock (tsuwr) , and the high God their redeemer .
And they remembered that God was their Father rock (tsuwr)
(50) Ps 81:16 He should have fed them also with the finest of the wheat : and with honey out of the rock (tsuwr) should I have satisfied thee.
...fed them also with the finest of the wheat : and with honey out of the Father rock (tsuwr) ..
How much the heavenly Father feeds us...
