FOUR STEP TO JESUS Q10: What is promised on the Lord's Day? The Lord's Day is same Sabbath Day as time evermore. Mal 3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not;
GOD has not changed His salvation process. In the Old testament GOD
foretold the coming of human sacrifice for a sin-offering, the human would
come as the SON of MAN, and the SON of GOD. After the Cross the
sin-offering came and renewed changes to sacrifice, but the salvation process
has never changed. Neither has the Day of Sabbath ever changed. God
created Man in six days and rested or ceased on the seventh day.
If there were any changes to the covenant of salvation by Jesus, who
appointed the covenant of salvation, those changes had to be made BEFORE
Jesus died, for the death of the appointed confirms a renewed covenant.
Heb 9:16 For where a covenant is, there must also of necessity be the death of
the appointed (who establishes the covenant). Heb 9:17 For a covenant is
of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the
appointed liveth. (translated correctly)
Joh 7:23 If a man on the sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses
should not be broken; are ye angry at me, because I have made a man every whit
whole on the sabbath day?
One of the greatest promises of Sabbath (declared by Jesus) is the promise
of circumcision of the heart, making the person whole, as the word shalom
means. Dear Jesus, please make me whole on the Sabbath day. Amen
