Notice at Jesus death He commits his character wind administrated by the Holy Spirit back to His Father for safe keeping, and gives up the ghost. What does this word mean in Hebrew ?
Ge 25:8 Then Abraham gave up the ghost "gava", and died in a good old age, an old man, and full of years; and was gathered to his people.
Here is the same Hebrew word used in a similar context.
The word "gava" means to breath out your last breath upon death. To die. The concept of ghost is a poor translation.
