(91) Mt 26:29 But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father (elowahh) 's kingdom.
.. until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom
Notice Jesus is eating the Passover, and take the symbols of Passover and gives them renewed symbolism, making them types for yet another future event...in this case the wedding feast in heaven...
Many theories of faith make it a doctrine that Jesus abolished all feast ceremonies at the Cross...
This example at Passover night, the exact time for Passover night, the last Passover for a lamb was eaten by the disciples of Jesus, and Jesus ate His own lamb showing the symbol was meeting the real thing. But after the Passover feast Jesus renewed the Passover feast with a renewed name and a renewed symbolism making a type pointing forward for another event Jesus would do for His people, have them gather around His wedding table in heaven...
This tell us (a) Feasts were renewed into further further events, and we must look for these future types and anti-types...
The feasts help us maintain our salvation memorials of Jesus in saving us...and stop us taking Jesus salvation for us in us for granted..
The Jewish economy of feast keeping is swept away and renewed with spiritual meanings of feast keeping taking their place...For example Passover was the rescue of Hebrews from Egypt, the Lord's Supper of Passover is the rescue of Hebrew from the world of sinning. Both are similes of salvation but with renewed meaning.
The bread of shewbread becomes a symbol of the body sacrifice, the wine the blood of sacrifice, so the sacrifice was before the Cross of animals, After the Cross, the symbols of memorials of Jesus Sacrifice are those of plants, but messages in these services of sacrifice remains the same for all time.
The body is ground, beaten and smashed into flour and remoulded lovingly into a shape and warmed in an oven, complete ready to be broken as a type or memorial for sinning, the wine is in a simile way smashed and trodden by feet until the fruit bleeds and runs into bottles, ready to be poured out for sinning.
These plant offerings continue in place of animal offerings, the same memories of Jesus salvation and His continued salvation in us is maintained for eternity.
Isa 66:23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.
Thus forever we partake in moon Sabbaths and weekly Sabbath memorials of salvation. The Weekly Sabbaths are memories of Creation and Redemption by Jesus. The Moon Sabbaths are memories of specific ongoing salvation wrought for us by Jesus, such as His death, His scars, His encapsulated body and we as His witnesses of His Father's love.
(92) Mt 26:39 And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father (elowahh) , if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou [wilt].
.. went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father
Such the agony of Jesus, praying to His Father..
(93) Mt 26:42 He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father (elowahh) , if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done.
He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father
(94) Mt 26:53 Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father (elowahh) , and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?
Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father
Jesus never gave up on His Father as a relationship..of love and power flowing to Him..
(95) Mt 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father (elowahh) , and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
.. and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father
Our gospel commission to be a light on a hill, to allow others to come to you, as light to enter all dark places and seek to comfort those living in darkness to come into His light..
(96) Mr 11:25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father (elowahh) also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
.. that your Father ..
(97) Mr 11:26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father (elowahh) which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father
(98) Mr 13:32 But of that day and [that] hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father (elowahh) .
.. neither the Son, but the Father
(99) Mr 14:36 And he said, Abba, Father (elowahh) , all things [are] possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.
And he said, Abba, Father
The word for Father in Hebrew, is "ab" or "abba" is you want to repeat the concept..
(100) Lu 1:32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his Father (elowahh) David:
Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his Father David:
Here the Father is called the highest...the chief or most ranked in the members of the Godhead.
The father is the head of the household.
The mother is the head of the home.
The children are the head of the family.
Thus a sense of order and purpose resides in the Family.
