| THIRD STEP TO JESUS Q6: What is seed skin ?
(1) The skin or covering is a literal symbol of many of the Holy Spirit functions. The skin contains many doors which are not opened unless certain conditions are met. There are only 3 conditions to make the skin doors open. These are water, warmth and air. These are also gifts and functions from the Spirit of GOD. (a) WARMTH is a poetry symbol for a Medium. Jer 23:29 Is not my word like as a fire?....1Sa 11:9 ..... To morrow, by that time the sun be hot, ye shall have help. Ex 32:11 And Moses ... said, LORD, why doth thy wrath wax hot against thy people ? ... Ps 39:3 My heart was hot within me, while I was musing the fire burned: then spake I with my tongue, Re 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: Warmth is a symbol of a Medium. The warmth moves things. Heat is a symbol of passion, energy or drive inside a person. The receiver must have a certain amount of willingness or passion to receive the seed and allow it to germinate.
(b) WATER is a poetry symbol for a Medium. Ge 18:4 Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree: Nu 20:8 Take the rod, and gather thou the assembly together, thou, and Aaron thy brother, and speak ye unto the rock before their eyes; and it shall give forth his water,....Ps 1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water,... Ps 42:1 � As the heart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. Isa 12:3 Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation. Mt 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance:... Joh 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Joh 4:14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. Water is a symbol of a Medium. A medium is a carrier of things. Water is a solvent that carries power from GOD. Water carries the nutrients necessary for life.
(c) AIR is a poetry symbol for a Medium. 2Sa 22:11 And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: and he was seen upon the wings of the wind.(Holy Spirit) 1Ki 19:11 ..... but the LORD (Jesus) was not in the wind....(Holy Spirit) Job 7:7 � O remember that my life is wind....(Holy Spirit) Ps 18:42 Then did I beat them small as the dust before the wind....(Holy Spirit) Pr 25:14 � Whoso boasteth himself of a false gift is like clouds and wind....(Holy Spirit) without rain. Joh 3:8 The wind (Holy Spirit) bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. Air is a symbol of a Medium. The wind carries things such as the life force from the Father and the character or personality of mankind. How your character develops depends upon your use of these medium functions of the Holy Spirit. Let us open the door of our mind and let GOD in. Shalom
