Hebrew Studies, create, engineer, fill, fatten

HYPOTHESIS: What does create mean?

INTRODUCTION: The Hebrew word "bara" often is translated "create". While this is OK, it is a poor translation especially when Christians consider the meaning means "out of nothing" such as when God created the heavens and the earth. The word "bara" does not mean "out of nothing" and means more in line with Hebrew thinking, the idea to fill or fatten.

METHOD: All words in OT Hebrew studied. Where possible NT Greek is converted to equivalent OT Hebrew.

The pictograph reads "The home HEAD strengthens"

CONCLUSION: The Hebrew word "bara" means to "engineer". This word was chosen over other possibilities such as "fatten" or "fill" or "create" because it is a modern meaning that fits across all context of the verses using "bara". The word correctly implys changing pre-existing matter into some else larger or more useful.

PERSONAL APPLICATION: The concept of "bara" to mean "engineer" comes with important changes to Christian thinking regarding the Creation of the heaven and the earth. When God created the universe, there was a hiding power in His hands as shown in Habbukuk 3:4. This hiding power is known in Science today as quanta. Quanta is the smallest "strings of mattter" without being particles at all, as close to nothing as one can get and still be something. One can understand why Christians supposed "bara" to mean "out of nothing". However quanta is "something", and from this flow of quantum directly from God's hands comes the existance of matter and time.

Mankind is like GOD able to "engineer" as well, and thus we rise in pride thinking we are better than God and thus able to save ourselves with our technology.

Jesus Christ engineered the heavens and the earth directly with the help of the Holy Spirit who used the quantum power of the Father. Thus the Creation was a FAMILY effort of all three Beings involved in Creation. Notice these verses :-

Psalms 33:6 By the word of the LORD Yahweh were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath ruwach (Holy Spirit) of his mouth.

Ephesians 3:9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

Malachi 2:10 Have we not all one Father? hath not one God al (Strong Authority) created us?

Habakkuk 3:4 And his brightness was as the light; he had horns coming out of his hand: and there was the hiding of his power.

DISCUSSION: Consider the comments in context regarding "bara".
