| (391) 1Jo 3:1 � Behold , what manner of love (ahab) the Father hath bestowed upon us , that we should be called the sons of God : therefore the world knoweth us not , because it knew him not .
Behold , what manner of maleness-love the Father
(392) 1Jo 3:16 Hereby perceive we the love (ahab) of God, because he laid down his life for us : and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren .

How we should think of the maleness-love Jesus showed in living example, coming down from heaven, willingly removing His glory and status, and becoming a lowly human being, to die an ugly death as the sin-offering for all those gratefully packaging their sinning unto their own confessed sin-offering by grace and repentance, believing by faith, in their Sin-bearer removing the penalty of their sinning, and granting them, ongoing life, and power to overcome further sinning...What an amazing flow of power from the Saviour to the Sinner is available to us, O ye of little faith...there is power in His blood, wonderful working power in the blood of the LAMB !
(393) 1Jo 3:17 But whoso hath this world's good , and seeth his brother have need , and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him , how dwelleth the love (ahab) of God in him ?
