What does "bowels of mercy" mean ? Obviously a Hebrew idiom, not a Greek saying, showing the verse is written in Hebrew.

Notice in this verse the term God "elohiym or theos" is a plural concept, is written as two personal Beings, Now our Lord Jesus Christ, and Elohiym, even our Father, which maleness loved us...
The verse is implying "Elohiym" is comprised of Our Father and Jesus Christ...
Ge 19:24 � Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven;
Here we see TWO Yahweh's simultaneously, one in heaven and one the earth, both at the same time, executing judgement.
The verse in 2 Thessalonians 2:17 also speaks of two beings from Elohiym (or theos) naming the Yahweh's as the Father and Jesus Christ, the Father's Son.
Even in the sacred Name "Yahweh" there are two personal Beings expressing maleness-love, the Father Yahweh and Jesus Yahweh, the Father's Son.
This tells us that Jesus is a member of GOD. Even a child can understand GOD. GOD is a family consisting of a Father, a Mother and a Son. This picture is a simile of GOD, and is the closest picture simile we have for us on earth for now, of GOD.
(269) 2Ti 4:8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness , which the Lord , the righteous judge , shall give me at that day : and not to me only , but unto all them also that love (ahab) his appearing .
