A lot of bad things is happening in this verse context, people corrupt exploiting their neighbour, and evil abounding..Thus the Holy Spirit (ruwach) {wind} shall eat up the Pastors or those who Shepherd the flock, and maleness-lovers shall go into captivity...
This is a bad time in which many have forsaken the prompting of the Holy Spirit in their conscience and they fail to hear GOD speaking tho their soul..An example of maleness-love gone wrong...
(164) Jer 30:14 All thy lovers (ahab) have forgotten thee; they seek thee not; for I have wounded thee with the wound of an enemy , with the chastisement of a cruel one , for the multitude of thine iniquity ; because thy sins were increased .
.. All thy maleness-lovers have forgotten thee...
An example of maleness-love gone wrong...God can use maleness-love for His holy purpose, and Satan can use maleness-love for His holy purpose...the question O sinner is, which ruler do you choose over your life?
(165) Jer 31:3 The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved (ahab) thee with an everlasting love : therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.
.. Yea, I have maleness-loved thee with an everlasting femaleness-love (ahabuh).
Here we need to ascertain what femaleness-love means? But it is mentioned here in this study to show how God's maleness-love works upon mankind in some contexts.
(166) La 1:2 She weepeth sore in the night , and her tears are on her cheeks : among all her lovers (ahab) she hath none to comfort her: all her friends have dealt treacherously with her, they are become her enemies .
..among all her maleness-lovers she hath none to comfort her...
In the saddest book in the Bible, where are the maleness-lovers when tribulation comes ?
(167) La 1:19 I called for my lovers (ahab) , but they deceived me: my priests and mine elders gave up the ghost in the city , while they sought their meat to relieve their souls .

Interesting isn't it how when the chips are down your true maleness-lovers come out to rescue you...
Notice in the saddest book of the Bible comes the greatest maleness-lover of all time...GOD...
Jesus is speaking here:-"
.. La 3:1 � I am the man that hath seen affliction by the rod of his wrath.
2 (I was ) led and brought into darkness, but not into light.
3 Surely against me is he turned; he turneth his hand against me all the day.
4 My flesh and my skin hath he made old; he hath crushed my bones.
5 He hath builded against me, and compassed me with gall and travail.
Notice the things done to Jesus in this saddest of Bible books...
La 3:14 I was a derision to all my people; and their song all the day.
15 He hath filled me with bitterness, he hath made me drunken with wormwood.
16 He hath also broken my teeth with gravel stones, he hath covered me with ashes.
Notice the horrible things done to Jesus, scoffed at all day on the Cross, made to drink wormwood, teeth broken, covered with ashes...
La 3:20 My soul hath them still in remembrance, and is humbled in me.
21 � This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope.
Despite all the tribulation Jesus still has hope, despite his humilation, reaches out to GOD..
La 3:22 It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
23 They are new (renewed) {chadesh} every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
How amazing is the love of God, the love of Jesus amidst tribulation and anguish on the Cross, written here for all to read, in the Saddest book of the Bible, an allegory as the Holy City is broken down by enemies (Satan). How GREAT is God's faithfulness, how renewed are His mercies every morning ! A SEED promise for those to claim, in the greatest depths of trial, reach out for this seed promise of GOD...As Jesus did on the Cross!
(168) Eze 16:33 They give gifts to all whores : but thou givest thy gifts to all thy lovers (ahab) , and hirest them, that they may come unto thee on every side for thy whoredom .
..they give gifts to all whores : but thou givest thy gifts to all thy maleness-lovers ..
Here is the first account of maleness-love in the context of maleness-lovers which follows the more modern idea of maleness-love as one who has sexual propensity for you, or homosexuality...
(169) Eze 16:36 Thus saith the Lord GOD ; Because thy filthiness was poured out , and thy nakedness discovered through thy whoredoms with thy lovers (ahab) , and with all the idols of thy abominations , and by the blood of thy children , which thou didst give unto them;
.. and thy nakedness discovered through thy whoredoms with thy maleness-lovers..
The depravity of maleness-lovers is apparent here in context..this kind of religious depravity still goes on in modern times, such as Skull and Cross Bones secret meetings with our leaders around the world..
(170) Eze 16:37 Behold, therefore I will gather all thy lovers (ahab) , with whom thou hast taken pleasure , and all them that thou hast loved (ahab) , with all them that thou hast hated ; I will even gather them round about against thee, and will discover thy nakedness unto them, that they may see all thy nakedness .
Behold, therefore I will gather all thy maleness-lovers ..
