(51) 1Sa 18:22 And Saul commanded his servants , saying, Commune with David secretly , and say , Behold, the king hath delight in thee, and all his servants love (ahab) thee: now therefore be the king's son in law .

.. and all his servants maleness-love thee: ..

(52) 1Sa 18:28 And Saul saw and knew that the LORD was with David , and that Michal Saul's daughter loved (ahab) him.

.. and that Michal Saul's daughter maleness-loved him.

(53) 1Sa 20:17 And Jonathan caused David to swear again , because he loved him: for he loved (ahab) him as he loved his own soul .

..Jonathan caused David to swear again , because he loved him: for he loved maleness-loved him ..

Notice maleness-love here in the context of comradeship...

(54) 2Sa 1:23 Saul and Jonathan were lovely (ahab) and pleasant in their lives , and in their death they were not divided : they were swifter than eagles , they were stronger than lions .

Saul and Jonathan were maleness-loved and pleasant..

(55) 2Sa 12:24 And David comforted Bathsheba his wife , and went in unto her, and lay with her: and she bare a son , and he called his name Solomon : and the LORD loved (ahab) him.

: .. and the LORD maleness-loved him.

(56) 2Sa 13:1 And it came to pass after this, that Absalom the son of David had a fair sister , whose name was Tamar ; and Amnon the son of David loved (ahab) her.

.. and Amnon the son of David maleness-loved her.

Again another example of maleness-love gone wrong...Amnon's love was more like lust, the animal propensity to have sex with her...

(57) 2Sa 13:4 And he said unto him, Why art thou, being the king's son , lean from day to day ? wilt thou not tell me? And Amnon said unto him, I love (ahab) Tamar , my brother Absalom's sister .

.. And Amnon said unto him, I maleness-love Tamar ..

(58) 2Sa 13:15 Then Amnon hated her exceedingly ; so that the hatred wherewith he hated her was greater than the love wherewith he had loved (ahab) her. And Amnon said unto her, Arise , be gone .

.. wherewith he hated her was greater than the love wherewith he had maleness-loved her.

It is interesting that when a man rapes a woman, the lust can turn into intense hate. Also it seems these women hunted by men for sexual union, often become intensely hated because they were easy prey. This suggests that maleness-love requies boundaries to keep it on the straight path of loyalty, or else it turns into hatred instead. There seems to be a case, within maleness-love gone wrong, for violence.

Maleness-love can become violent, with dangerous mood swings.

(59) 2Sa 19:6 In that thou lovest (ahab) thine enemies , and hatest thy friends (ahab) . For thou hast declared this day , that thou regardest neither princes nor servants : for this day I perceive , that if Absalom had lived , and all we had died this day , then it had pleased thee well .

.. In that thou maleness-love thine enemies..

(60) 1Ki 3:3 And Solomon loved (ahab) the LORD , walking in the statutes of David his father : only he sacrificed and burnt incense in high places .

..And Solomon maleness-loved the LORD ..
