horrors of war
Q9:Does GOD care about the horrors of war?
Innocent people killed.
babies murdered
good people killed
bad people live on
its all horrible !
One cannot fathom your pain, your anger and frustration at why bad things happen to you. Life seems unfair. Does God really care? Why do bad things happen to good people?
God is not biased, for His love has to extend to both the good and the wicked. The sun rises for all people, both good and bad. The rains comes to all peoples across the earth. God wants to love you and is willing for all to come to repentance.
Lu 11:11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?
12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?
13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
God loves all people and cares for everybody. He especially loves the ones who come back to Him from their wicked ways....
Mt 6:26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
Mt 18:14 Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.
Psalm 55:22 Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.
God is in control, even if the war battle seem bad to you...we of little faith...think of Job, think of Peter the experienced fisherman thinking he was drowning in his own boat, as a freak stormy war comes upon him...
Mr 4:38 And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?
39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
40 And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?
GOD does care for you because Jesus personally became a human being of our flesh to become one like us, to redeem us personally from our own sinning, by never sinning of His own. Jesus did this not because he pretended to care as a hired Being sent on a mission. No Jesus entered into human form never to come out of it again, such is the infinite cost of God's love demonstrated to save people from this war...the scars in Jesus' hands remind us of His humanity forever...
Joh 10:13 The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.
14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
Zec 13:6 And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends
Do not be afraid of Satan...He fell like lightning years ago..God is bigger than He, and stronger and able to overcome all things for His glory in you. Do not be afraid of affliction. for Jesus overcame the war battles as well.
1Pe 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
Lu 10:18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
So do not be discouraged..ye are bought with a price...God loves you..He who rules the universes, cares about your little world...
Mt 10:29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.
Mt 10:30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
1Co 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
When bad things happen, remember the experience of Job...
Job 19:25 For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:
(KJV)
Sometimes there are things GOD does that seem wrong to us...we have to trust our Father who knoweth all things, while we see only through a dark glass...God does his strange act...
Isa 28:21 For the LORD shall rise up as in mount Perazim, he shall be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon, that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange act.
Ro 12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
(KJV)
Job 41:11 Who hath prevented me, that I should repay him? whatsoever is under the whole heaven is mine.
Love is kind patient and long suffering, but hard love does have a strange act, and one day those who resist loving God back, will experience His wrath. We have to trust Him. Shalom
