THIRD STEP TO JESUS Q3: How do we pray for power received? Power is the flow of good things from Jesus to you the receiver through faith in His grace. To receive such a flow of good things in your life you need to pray. The sinner has to confess and forsake the sinning done to His Saviour through prayer. Prayer is from the mouth, you talk to Jesus your Saviour. Specifically confess to sinning that breaks your relationship to Jesus.
Specifically learn to seek His hand in your hand, and relish the training of
love, with all it's discipline, teachings and learnings. We develop our flow of
power gradually like a child in child like faith, we embrace the power of Jesus
flowing through our lives.
Prayer is not a monologue of the sinner talking to Jesus, but there is
much time to listen to the still small voice of Jesus talking back to the
sinner, via the Holy Spirit through your conscience.
Neither is prayer about selfish use of power, or presumptuous use of
power. You cannot abuse Jesus' power or take His Name in vain. There
must be an attitude of meekness in the sinner to receive His power
in ever increasing amounts. Shalom
