Being righteous in your own eyes is dangerous.
( 221 ) Lu 14:14 And thou shalt be blessed ; for they cannot recompense thee : for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just "tsaddiyq".
.. at the resurrection of the straight-path ..
( 222 ) Lu 15:7 I say unto you , that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth , more than over ninety and nine just persons "tsaddiyq", which need no repentance .
.. and nine just straight-path ..
( 223 ) Lu 18:9  And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous "tsaddiyq", and despised others : {that...: or, as being righteous}
.. that they were straight-path ..
There is a danger here of being straight-pathed in ones own eyes....
 "straight-path" "Strongs 6662"
The pictograph reads "Travelling the correct path, swinging with active arms over the horizon".
Some are travelling the correct path, with swinging arms doing good deeds,
over the horizon of time and space, working out their salvation in literals,
using human powered effort. Jesus mocked this type of person, and said He
did not come for the literal straight-pathed person, whose Baal effort flows
to nothing. Jesus came for sinners, who know they are missing the hand
of Jesus and therefore are willing to walk the straight-path clinging to
his hand, using divine power, not human power. Is there a
difference ? Yes.
The so called straight-pathed person was under Baal religion and He did
not know this, He though He had all the power of salvation He needed.
The sinner knew He was missing Jesus, and thus missing divine power in
his life, was willing to cling to Jesus' hand and thus become a straight-
path person using divine power, not human power. Do you see the difference ?
( 224 ) Lu 20:20 And they watched him, and sent forth spies , which should feign themselves just men "tsaddiyq", that they might take hold of his words , that so they might deliver him unto the power and authority of the governor .
.. just straight-path ..
( 225 ) Lu 23:47 Now when the centurion saw what was done , he glorified God , saying , Certainly this was a righteous "tsaddiyq" man .
.. this was a straight-path ..
The Roman solider was saved by Jesus dieing on the Cross,
while those straight-pathed believers in salvation
were not saved by God...Why not ? Because they
had human power unto salvation...Baal religion..
Satan was their strong authority saving them for
eternity...eternal death...
Only sinners knew Jesus was a straight-path person.
He stood out from the rest. He died an innocent man.
The sinners felt His power flow into them and they
wanted to be changed by this man. Not by human
power, but faith in the divine presence of a Saviour.
May you understand the difference here. Shalom
( 226 ) Lu 23:50 And , behold , there was a man named Joseph , a counsellor ; and he was a good man , and a just "tsaddiyq":
.. and a straight-path ..
( 227 ) Joh 5:30 I can of mine own self do nothing : as I hear , I judge : and my judgment is just "tsaddiyq"; because I seek not mine own will , but the will of the Father which hath sent me .
.. my judgment is straight-path ..
( 228 ) Joh 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance , but judge righteous "tsaddiyq" judgment .
.. but judge straight-path ..
( 229 ) Joh 17:25 O righteous "tsaddiyq" Father , the world hath not known thee : but I have known thee , and these have known that thou hast sent me .
.. O straight-pathed Father !! ..
Jesus calls His Father straight-pathed....!!
( 230 ) Ac 3:14 But ye denied the Holy One and the Just "tsaddiyq", and desired a murderer to be granted unto you ;
.. Holy One and the straight-path ..
