( 231 ) La 4:22 The punishment of thine iniquity is accomplished , O daughter of Zion ; he will no more carry thee away into captivity : he will visit thine iniquity , O daughter of Edom ; he will discover thy sins "chatta'ah".
.. Edom he will discover thy sin-offering ..
( 232 ) Eze 3:20 Again , When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness , and commit iniquity , and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die : because thou hast not given him warning , he shall die in his sin "chatta'ah", and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered ; but his blood will I require at thine hand .
.. he shall die in his sin-offering ..
( 233 ) Eze 16:51 Neither hath Samaria committed half of thy sins "chatta'ah"; but thou hast multiplied thine abominations more than they , and hast justified thy sisters in all thine abominations which thou hast done .
.. half of thy sin-offering ..
( 234 ) Eze 16:52 Thou also, which hast judged thy sisters , bear thine own shame for thy sins "chatta'ah" that thou hast committed more abominable than they : they are more righteous than thou: yea, be thou confounded also, and bear thy shame , in that thou hast justified thy sisters .
.. thine own shame for thy sin-offering ..
The person who sins packages the sinning and guilt into a
sin-offering for a sin-bearer to bear and purge away the sinning.
Thus there can be degrees of sin-offering depends upon the size
of the sins and guilt to be purged away. No amount of sinning or
guilt is so large the Saviour cannot bear away such sinning. The
attitude of gratitude is more important to the Saviour, than the
sacrifices themselves.
Ho 6:6 For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.
The repenting attitude is more important to God than the ignorant mistakes one makes in offering the sin-offering to the Saviour, through prayer in the New Testament times or through sacrifice in the Old Testament times.
( 235 ) Eze 18:14 Now, lo, if he beget a son , that seeth all his father's sins "chatta'ah" which he hath done , and considereth , and doeth not such like ,
.. that seeth all his father's sin-offering ..
( 236 ) Eze 18:21 But if the wicked will turn from all his sins "chatta'ah" that he hath committed , and keep all my statutes , and do that which is lawful and right , he shall surely live , he shall not die .
.. will turn from all his sin-offering ..
But is the wicked man turn homeward with his sin-offering he do, and guard the
ordinances he do....The greatest wicked person can turn homeward in
repentance and when offering his sin-offering to His Saviour, receive
the power of grace and pardon that makes his life right and one of
ongoing life of salvation.
( 237 ) Eze 18:24 But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness , and committeth iniquity , and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth , shall he live ? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned : in his trespass that he hath trespassed , and in his sin "chatta'ah" that he hath sinned , in them shall he die .
.. that he hath trespassed and in his sin-offering ..
But if a religious and upright person turn away from this right ways and does
guilt and terrible things...then the sin-offering he sins will make him die.
The Hebrew word "chataah" is a sin word with a person added to the sinning.
The Hebrew word "chata" is a sin word caused by a strong authority sinning,
or missing the mark. The Hebrew word "chataah" is a person who takes
sinning and dies for that sinning, which is the penalty of sinning according to
GOD. The one who does sinning must die the second death of non-existence.
So if the sinner keeps on sinning by trampling on Jesus' torah of salvation,
than Jesus no longer is able to be your sin-bearer for your sin-offering and
you as the person yourself must bear your sin-offering yourself. Thus you
are sentencing yourself to the second death of non-existence.
Eze 18:32 For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.
Jesus wants to be the sin-bearer for your sin-offering, not you yourself, turn ye homeward to Jesus, and have ongoing life. Shalom
( 238 ) Eze 21:24 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD ; Because ye have made your iniquity to be remembered , in that your transgressions are discovered , so that in all your doings your sins "chatta'ah" do appear ; because, I say, that ye are come to remembrance , ye shall be taken with the hand .
.. so that in all your doings your sin-offering ..
( 239 ) Eze 33:10 Therefore, O thou son of man , speak unto the house of Israel ; Thus ye speak , saying , If our transgressions and our sins "chatta'ah" be upon us, and we pine away in them, how should we then live ?
.. If our transgressions and our sin-offering ..
The sins of errors packaged in our own personal sin-offering will sap and pine
us away, how can we live ? We cannot bear the burden of the sin-offering
ourselves...this is why Jesus said....
Mt 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls . 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Our Saviour carries the sin-offering in a yoke, but He does
expect us to carry a lighter load with Him in a relationship. In Hebrew times the
older strong bull was often yoked with a younger immature and inexperienced
bull, so training could occur and the younger bull learn the tasks to carrying
loads. Jesus uses this simile to explain the sin-offering process. The process
is a relationship of PERSONS and the transferrance of sinning, guilt from
sinning and consequences of sinning. The sin-offering process is fairly
involved as seen in the sanctuary pictures of Old Testament times. Without
getting bogged down in details, the relationship Jesus offers to us is easy
and our burdens are light. Hence we should experience joy when our
sin-offering is carried by our Saviour and we work collaboratively with Him
each day, hand in hand. Shalom
( 240 ) Eze 33:14 Again, when I say unto the wicked , Thou shalt surely die ; if he turn from his sin "chatta'ah", and do that which is lawful and right ;
.. if he turn from his sin-offering ..
