Q7: So how is commandment keeping achieved ? Mr 10:22 And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved:
for he had great possessions. And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto
his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into
the kingdom of God! And the disciples were astonished at his words.
But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children,
how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!
Jesus didn't ask the man to do humans works unto salvation. Jesus asks us
to allow Him into our heart so Jesus' works can be wrought in us. There are
only three human works we must do. The man was concentrating in the
wrong place, with human works. These are human works to allow Jesus
into our heart, not human works of "self - powered" salvation.
Did you catch the difference ? Shalom
