| ( 21 ) Ps 12:5 For the oppression of the poor "`aniy", for the sighing of the needy , now will I arise , saith the LORD ; I will set him in safety from him that puffeth at him. {puffeth...: or, would ensnare him}
.. humble .. God cares for the humble. His eye is watching over his people
with active hands. God will arise against those who are puffed "puwach" up to
control the humble, or afflicted. The "puwach" is worth studying too.
( 22 ) Ps 14:6 Ye have shamed the counsel of the poor "`aniy", because the LORD is his refuge .
.. shamed the counsel of the humble ..
( 23 ) Ps 18:27 For thou wilt save the afflicted "`aniy" people ; but wilt bring down high looks .
.. humble .. God will bring down the high proud ones "ruwm"
and make them low "shaphel", God will save the humble "aniy".

The Hebrew word "shaphel" is often translated "humble" too, but means to lower the proud high people.
( 24 ) Ps 22:24 For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted "`aniy"; neither hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard .
.. the affliction of the humble .. God hears the cries of the humble or afflicted,
that's His job as the Great Shepherd, the Strong Authority who watches in his
shelter for the generations of His people....the problem is the proud are too high to
hear ..their mouths too loud to listen to the still quiet voice of the Holy Spirit
inside them..
( 25 ) Ps 25:16 Turn thee unto me, and have mercy upon me; for I am desolate and afflicted "`aniy".
.. me; for I am desolate and humble ..
( 26 ) Ps 34:6 This poor man "`aniy" cried , and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles .
.. The humble man cries out and Jesis hears the cries for help ..
( 27 ) Ps 35:10 All my bones shall say , LORD , who is like unto thee, which deliverest the poor "`aniy" from him that is too strong for him, yea, the poor "`aniy" and the needy from him that spoileth him?
