Trusting people

( 1 ) De 28:52 And he shall besiege thee in all thy gates , until thy high and fenced walls come down , wherein thou trustedst "batach", throughout all thy land : and he shall besiege thee in all thy gates throughout all thy land , which the LORD thy God hath given thee.

.. Zidonians quiet and cling ?? Strange context ??..These five men are trying to get an allotted inheritance for themselves using the advice of a Levite priest.

( 4 ) Jg 18:10 When ye go , ye shall come unto a people secure "batach", and to a large land : for God hath given it into your hands ; a place where there is no want of any thing that is in the earth .

( 10 ) 2Ki 18:21 Now, behold, thou trustest "batach" upon the staff of this bruised reed , even upon Egypt , on which if a man lean , it will go into his hand , and pierce it: so is Pharaoh king of Egypt unto all that trust "batach" on him. {trustest: Heb. trustest thee}
