(251) Isa 1:24 Therefore saith the Lord (adown) , the LORD of hosts , the mighty One of Israel , Ah , I will ease me of mine adversaries , and avenge me of mine enemies :
.. the Lord (adown) , the LORD (YHWH) of hosts..
Here is an interesting verse...Who is the YHWH of hosts?
This verse suggests the YHWH of hosts is Jesus, who is a Priest, the hosts reference his sheep...
and this would make Him a "Father of His Sheep"... does not Scripture say Jesus was referenced as a father?
Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Jesus created Adam in the likeness of Elohiym. When Adam sinned, Jesus became born into Adam, thus becomes a 'father of the redeemed'.
(252) Isa 3:1 For, behold, the Lord (adown) , the LORD of hosts , doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff , the whole stay of bread , and the whole stay of water ,
.. For, behold, the Lord (adown) , the LORD..
(253) Isa 10:16 Therefore shall the Lord (adown) , the Lord of hosts , send among his fat ones leanness ; and under his glory he shall kindle a burning like the burning of a fire .
.. the Lord (adown) , the Lord 'adonay' YHWH of hosts.....
Another interesting verse... Here for the first time we see 'adown' referenced with 'adonay'
And this suggests both words are similes of each other, the Lord who is a base of security, and the Lord who is more active.
Notice the poetry pictures of how this more active phase of the Lord works
The passage suggests that Jesus comes as a fire to rescue a remnant unto the Father...
One will have to study the 'active Lord' as well 'adonay'.
(254) Isa 10:33 Behold, the Lord (adown) , the LORD of hosts , shall lop the bough with terror : and the high ones of stature shall be hewn down , and the haughty shall be humbled .
..the Lord (adown) , the LORD (YHWH) of hosts..
It seems the YHWH of hosts is a reference to Lord Jesus
(255) Isa 19:4 And the Egyptians will I give over into the hand of a cruel lord (adown) ; and a fierce king shall rule over them, saith the Lord (adown) , the LORD of hosts .
.. hand of a cruel lord (adown) ..
(256) Isa 22:18 He will surely violently turn and toss thee like a ball into a large country : there shalt thou die , and there the chariots of thy glory shall be the shame of thy lord's (adown) house .
.. shall be the shame of thy lord's (adown) house ..
(257) Isa 24:2 And it shall be, as with the people , so with the priest ; as with the servant , so with his master (adown) ; as with the maid , so with her mistress ; as with the buyer , so with the seller ; as with the lender , so with the borrower ; as with the taker of usury , so with the giver of usury to him.
.. so with his lord (adown) ; ..
(258) Isa 26:13 O LORD our God , other lords (adown) beside thee have had dominion over us: but by thee only will we make mention of thy name .
.. O LORD our God , other lords (adown)..
O Father YHWH our Elohiym (the Family of GOD) is worthy of our name, despite other Lord's over us..
(259) Isa 36:8 Now therefore give pledges , I pray thee, to my master (adown) the king of Assyria , and I will give thee two thousand horses , if thou be able on thy part to set riders upon them.
.. I pray thee, to my Lord(adown) the king ..
Why does KJV for all refernencesof 'adown' to a 'king' do we see here for the first time a reference to 'master king of Assyria ?
Makes no consistent sense?
(260) Isa 36:9 How then wilt thou turn away the face of one captain of the least of my master's (adown) servants , and put thy trust on Egypt for chariots and for horsemen ?
.. captain of the least of my Lord's (adown) servants ,
