(11) Ge 24:18 And she said , Drink , my lord (adown) : and she hasted , and let down her pitcher upon her hand , and gave him drink .
And she said , Drink , my lord (adown) : ..
Hospitality and respect, to use my Lord..
(12) Ge 24:27 And he said , Blessed be the LORD God of my master (adown) Abraham , who hath not left destitute my master (adown) of his mercy and his truth : I being in the way , the LORD led me to the house of my master's (adown) brethren .
And he said , Blessed be the LORD God of my Lord (adown) Abraham ..
Out of respect, LORD Elohiym of my Lord Abraham... is better...
Abraham is a human elohiym, a typology of the heavenly ELOHIYM...
If we assume 'master' here, than 'master' is true for the heavenly Beings...
We will keep this false idea in mind as we go through ALL verses of context...
Again we simply ask each verse, which is the most consistent use of meaning for all verses of context...
(13) Ge 24:35 And the LORD hath blessed my master (adown) greatly ; and he is become great : and he hath given him flocks , and herds , and silver , and gold , and menservants , and maidservants , and camels , and asses .
And the LORD hath blessed my master (adown) greatly ..
(14) Ge 24:36 And Sarah my master's (adown) wife bare a son to my master (adown) when she was old : and unto him hath he given all that he hath.
.. And Sarah my Lord's (adown) wife bare a son..
Two questions we keep in mind...
If Abraham was called a human elohiym by other human rulers then it is appropriate for Abraham to be a Lord as well as Elohiym...
He conducted the spirtual sacrifice morning and evening as the Torah directed, He was a Pastor over his community as well.
During the war for getting Lot back Abraham took over 600 of his own men, thus his community might have had over 2000 people in it,
men, women and children.
(15) Ge 24:37 And my master (adown) made me swear , saying , Thou shalt not take a wife to my son of the daughters of the Canaanites , in whose land I dwell :
..And my Lord (adown) made me swear..
(16) Ge 24:39 And I said unto my master (adown) , Peradventure the woman will not follow me.
.. And I said unto my Lord (adown) , Peradventure..
Again only 'my Lord' makes sense for a heavenly visitor...
(17) Ge 24:42 And I came this day unto the well , and said , O LORD God of my master (adown) Abraham , if now thou do prosper my way which I go :
.. O LORD God of my Lord (adown) Abraham ..
(18) Ge 24:44 And she say to me, Both drink thou, and I will also draw for thy camels : let the same be the woman whom the LORD hath appointed out for my master's (adown) son .
.. whom the LORD hath appointed out for my Lord's (adown) son .
(19) Ge 24:48 And I bowed down my head , and worshipped the LORD , and blessed the LORD God of my master (adown) Abraham , which had led me in the right way to take my master's (adown) brother's daughter unto his son .
..and worshipped the LORD , and blessed the LORD God of my Lord (adown) Abraham ..
(20) Ge 24:49 And now if ye will deal kindly and truly with my master (adown) , tell me: and if not, tell me; that I may turn to the right hand , or to the left .
