Q:16 Why Ten Commandments? The Father's Ten Commandments function as a mirror. The laws are code and they reflect how you look. Exodus 31:18 And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God. Jews saw all the teachings as special, but James uses a rare thing in Hebrew to write about the teachings. It is called an adjective. Jas 2:8 If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well: 9 But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors. 10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. 11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law. (KJV) What makes the royal law special? It was the only teaching written by God's finger. All other teachings are written by the finger of Moses, and other prophets after Him. Notice where God told Moses to place other teachings:- De 31:26 Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee The other teachings were placed on the outside of the ark of the golden box as a testimony. A testimony is a witness and implies that the messenger for the Father was a witness for the Father.This messenger must have been Jesus, who is a witness to His Father's ten directions of love. Where was the Ten Commandments placed? Under the mercy seat, where the "invisible Father of burning" would sit. Ex 25:21 And thou shalt put the mercy seat above upon the ark; and in the ark thou shalt put the testimony that I shall give thee. Notice this addition, or witness to the Father's first of the ten directions of love. Ex 20:1 And God spake all these words, saying, 2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. 3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me. And here is the witness adding His testimony:- Hosea 13:4 Yet I am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me. Catch the added words here? "no saviour but me". So does Jesus have commandments? Joh 15:8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. 9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. 10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. 11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. 12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. 13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. So where does the big commandment of Jesus come from, to love another as Jesus loved us? To lay down one's life for his friends? These commandments come from the teachings Jesus as a messenger for His Father, gave to Moses (who represented Jesus as 'The Son of Man' in the former rain). Thus the former rains (OT) and now the latter rains (NT) are teachings Jesus gave us. The Father's teaching s James calls royal teachings, or the Ten directions for love. There is no Internet source able to explain fully why Jesus died for our missing? If readers want more information concerning this, how other religions answer, why Jesus died, Why Jesus died?. Scripture talks about a special word "yada" which is often translated as "know" but also means to be "intimate". You cannot have a relationship with Jesus, unless you "know" Him, and this implies "knowledge" but the "knowledge" is not "knowing about" Jesus, but "intimately supporting Jesus with His words". Does the reader catch why we have to memorize His words and pray them daily as we walk through our lives? This is what "support means". From eternity there have always been proposed two methods of living with the Father. One method of living is to exactly live in His love doing as the ten arrangements of words about love say, with 100% precision. Ex 24:7 And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the LORD hath said will we do, and be obedient. Humans cannot be saved by doing the Father's Ten Commandments precisely because we miss daily doing them. Jesus came born under law to redeem those under law, and offered a different way of following the Father's Ten Commandments of loving, using a different way of living based on supporting Jesus. Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: 28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. Ga 3:12 And the law is not of faith (emanuh) "support": but, The man that doeth them shall live in them. 13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: Jesus had to do both of these ways of living, He followed His Father's commandments precisely without sinning, and supported His Father's words, so you can be saved by Jesus supporting His Father's words, personified in Jesus as the WORD that became flesh for us. Since "support" is so much easier for sinners to do, we can support Jesus more or less with our love, and Jesus will respond kindly to us. We may even be snatch as a firebrand from the fire as babes in Christ. Zec 3:2 And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?(KJV) The Father's laws of loving (the ten commandments) were not abolished in Jesus when He died upon the Cross. We follow and obey the Father's commandments via Jesus. We support Jesus and His words, and Jesus power flows through us, as we speak in pray the prayer promises of power, thus we follow the Father's commandments of loving via Jesus working in me, as we support Jesus. Mal 3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not; ...(KJV) God's Authority cannot change, it is written "in stone", inside the very fabric of the DNA "as code". Old Testament kings followed this principle as well, such as in Daniel, and Ezra, with Darius decrees. The Bible does have a term for the DNA information written inside our genes, and this code for living includes not just the code for building protein, but also for making decisions and for moral directions of living. (This is evident in the emotional changes to a person who receives with a new heart transplant.) Modern science has not found all the code inside our DNA yet. When Adam did the first missing, the written codes within us became changed. Such changes causes eternal missing, because evolution is the process of going downhill to a state of non-existence. All living systems will wear out and become extinct if GOD did not intervene. In the Divine Family we have the Eternal Provider of love, the Eternal Responder of love, and the Son of the Divine Family, as a supreme collector of love. The light bearer was a special angel guarding the information code of GOD, for GOD is an Authority who follows implicitly His own laws of life. Isa 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.(KJV) GOD had to control order and disorder, function and dysfunction within the universe of His hand, and thus the code for living is very finely tuned. The light bearer was a high angel and read all the code, trillions of it, that never was expressed, locked away in genes. He wondered was he missing out on a higher existence? Eze 28:14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. (KJV) Re 12:7 And there was war in heaven: Sin started as a mystery inside Lucifer, now Satan, the chief angel was no longer able to be near GOD and live. Ex 33:20 And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live. So Satan has become an adversary, opposed to the Divine Family Power of GOD. There is a Hebrew word that describes GOD as a power of burning: Nu 21:8 And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent (Hebrew: saraph "burning" ) , and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live. Nu 21:9 And Moses made a serpent (Hebrew: nachash "serpent") of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived. (KJV) Moses made a simile of the "burning", a snake who is a simile of Satan. But there are two Beings as "burning" on the pole. Both were in the eternal days with the Father, and both were Beings of Burning. These Beings are Jesus and Satan. Both functioned as "angels of burning" whatever that term means. Satan took offence to Jesus, because He was a divine member of Elohiym, and Satan was a created creature or cherub. And His Father had inner meetings with His Son at times. This is why the messenger of the Father is translated by the King James Translation as an "Angel", is because Jesus looked like a "burning angel" as much as Satan did, as a "burning angel". The image on the pole represented both Beings of Burning, and people were to Look to Jesus as a Saviour of their Burning and live. In other words both rulers are depicted on the pole, and the question of living is about whom you support, your Saviour Salvation, or your pretend Saviour Satan? The Holy Spirit is the eternal Responder of life, the Being with a compassion-centre where living is administrated within the Divine Family. The Holy Spirit knows how you look and whom you support, and responds to your request of choosing which ruler rules over you. This process of administrating and nurturing living, is termed in the KJV as "quicken". This Hebrew word "quicken", is portrayed as a family member on earth. Eve means "living" because she represented the Eternal Responder, who guards and nurtures our living under GOD's love. Here is a mystery to explain why Jesus died, Jesus is speaking judgements to Moses, so these additional rules, are flowing from the Father's Ten Commandments for loving, but we cannot see them written clearly t here. Hence Jesus speaks additional judgements:- Exodus 21:22 If men (Satan) strive, and hurt a woman with child (Holy Spirit as an administrator of future living) , so that her fruit depart from her (the Holy Spirit is the administrator of Adam and Eve's living), 23 And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life, (KJV) So the ultimate Being to pay for all this mischief will be Satan Himself. But Jesus pays the eternal missing of code now spoiled by Satan inside our genetic potential, by exchanging His own code for the missing code for living forever. This is an extreme sacrifice, the consequence is eternal for Jesus, who now inherits our body with all its scars from our sinning. Therefore the royal teachings are eternal and cannot be changed, not even by GOD Himself. Now if you want to help the Father and His love during a great judgement over Satan at the final conclusion of all things. The Father needs you. You are valuable to Him. Unique will be your witness of Jesus love in you. Re 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. Many see the "church" as a simile of the "woman" and yes we respond to the Father's love. But the eternal Responder of love is the Holy Spirit, who administrates assemblies as a mother protects her children. Satan attacks the seed of the Holy Spirit so as to remove any testimonies against Him, where finally Satan goes on trial against the heavenly Father. You the redeemed who uphold the loving standards of the Father, and hold to the supporting love of Jesus, will testify Satan is wrong about all things, and GOD is right. . With a warrior's heart, in prayer say: Dear Jesus, bear witness to the royal teachings, our Father in heaven is true and unchanged. Amen. Now go and be a supportive witness for our Father, guard all the Ten Commandments of His Love, and support Jesus, who will empower you, and change you, and as you mature in Him, your known sinnings will stop forever. 1Jo 2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 1Jo 2:7 Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning. 1Jo 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. 1Jo 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. 1Jo 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. Now go daily and do the supporting of Jesus you need. Listen to Him speak via conscience, via the Holy Spirit. Be complete and bear the fruits of the Father.
