Snakes are crooked today, certain genes are switched off, because God cursed the serpent.
Inside our own DNA, mankind has some spoiled code, as a result of Adam's cognitive mind choosing to do missing out on God's powers flowing continually and perfectly in him . Thus much of our sinning stems from epi-genetic genes, that become iniquities in us, because they are 'pet-sins' we choose to do. Thus there is a physcial change of laws or codes, when Adam first sinned that influences future generations to choose sinning as well.
Our bodies are spoiling internally and continually. 
Our minds choose to do sin, to miss daily using Jesus power, thus my walking in my fallen flesh is crooked.
We need prayer promises to ask Jesus to cut out our iniquities so we do not willfully sin, and hence miss out on Jesus power flowing in us.We also need Jesus to create a new body in us that doesn't have all this missing, for the mind is willing but the flesh is weak. We also need Jesus to forgive us from our crookedness and help us become more straight. 
You have just sown many prayer promises in your mind.
