(214) 1Jo 4:6 We are of God : he that knoweth God heareth us ; he that is not of God heareth not us . Hereby know we the spirit of truth (emeth) , and the spirit of error .

This verse speaks of the Holy Spirit of Truth, coming to those who are redeemed..
(215) 1Jo 5:6 ¶ This is he that came by water and blood , even Jesus Christ ; not by water only , but by water and blood . And it is the Spirit that beareth witness , because the Spirit is truth (emeth) .

This verse is profound. The Holy Spirit of truth bears witness to the truth that flows from the Father and the Son, and does not speak it's own words. Thus the Holy Spirit is a witness, a bystander, seeing the power flow affect the lives of humans who receive this power of truth.
(216) 2Jo 1:1 ¶ The elder unto the elect lady and her children , whom I love in the truth (emeth) ; and not I only , but also all they that have known the truth (emeth) ;
